[Vash is around for the picnic, and he brought donuts! He'll be around marveling at the trees. He saw them last year, but they still amaze him to no end.]

[Grune is setting up her red-and-white chequered blanket, humming away happily. A picnic with all kinds of new friends amongst the blossoming cherry trees? Paradise!

All sorts of food is spread out on the blanket around her--some she brought from the shops, some she made. About half of the food she made herself looks very tasty indeed...but the less said about the other half, the better. There also seems to be no cutlery. Erm.

Feel free to join her on the blanket! The more friends, the merrier!]

[Yes, you read that right: there is a tea party going on near one of the trees. It may not be one of the quietest tea parties you've ever witnessed (if you've ever witnessed one at all), but that's to be expected when there are Nightrays and a certain Vessalius involved. The participants may not be the most willing, but they have their own snacks and, well, tea prepared for the occasion. Don't worry, Gilbert prepared it, it's all safe. Go bother them and see what all the fuss is about!]

[Oz wanted to go on a picnic. How could Gilbert possibly have refused a request like that? Or the subsequent ones for food and tea and... whatever else was needed on a picnic....

Still, if there's anything they aren't lacking here it's time, and even if he won't admit it to anyone he sort of likes cooking. So he'll just be over here, setting out the food and tea he'd brought and making sure there's a good shady spot for Oz to sit so he won't get too much sun. If... he's actually planning to sit. But yes, Gil is far too busy to look around at the blossoms that brought everyone out to the hill this afternoon.]

[Once Gilbert starts setting everything out, he might feel someone watching him. Judging him.

[Elliot, when are you not judging him. Gilbert might hunch his shoulders a little under his coat, but he's still going to finish what he was doing. The food can't just stay in the basket, after all.

[Touya is all over this hanami thing. He's got the picnic lunch, the blanket, and a little bit of celebratory alcohol for him and Yuki. Now all they need is a good spot...]

[He looks around and finds a spot under one of the trees. The petals are falling with the breeze, it's a beautiful spot.]

[Yukito notices the same spot at the same time and reaches out to take Touya's arm and point it out with a bright smile.]

[Touya smiles--there's something exciting about their first hanami as a couple. They'd done it before as friends, but it was the two of them today. Well, assuming nobody crashed their blanket.]

Read my mind. [He leads Yuki over.]

[Yukito grins, taking the blanket to spread it out in their chosen spot.]

[Satoshi is no stranger to this tradition, though admittedly he's had little time to enjoy it these past few years. But if Luceti was going to hold something like that, then Satoshi will gratefully take hold of the normality such an event offered him.

He only wished Satoko could see it too, but. Well. He can just be glad for her safety in Hinamizawa, as he had been assured of time after time.

Instead, he is accompanying infinitepath, alternating between enjoying the view of the flowers and making sure Rika was still nearby. Satoshi may be spacey on a lot of things, but he has never shirked on his brotherly duties for his tiny little sister figures. :|b Feel free to accost either of them at your leisure.]

[She makes sure to keep up with Satoshi as they enjoy the view of the flowers. After all, getting lost wouldn't be any fun.

Rika looks around for a nice tree to sit under. After a bit of searching, she finally spots one.] Mii. Satoshi, would you like to sit under that tree? [She points at said tree.]

It looks like it'd be a nice place to eat lunch. [Rika smiles as she holds up the bento she prepared.]

[Don't worry, Rika. Satoshi wouldn't let you get lost. He'd never forgive himself.

He grins at her once she holds up the bento, bending down slightly to her level.]

Hahaha...did you make that yourself, Rika-chan? [He reaches out to pet her head in order to show his appreciation.] Good work.
