[Drip. Drip. Drip.

If it weren't for the soft light of Nala's healing, concentrated around Nami's hand and Zoro's head and glowing steadily for hours, it would be pitch black in the small hole they've been buried alive in. Uneven rubble makes for an uncomfortable seat, though a solid slab of rock at least forms a relatively stable ceiling...And the slow inward trickle of water inches steadily higher.]

[Nami's getting tired.

She's well lost track of the hours by the time she finally lets go of the magic. There's only so much she can do for him, and she has to fight the childish urge to shake Zoro by the shoulders when he still fails to wake up after all this time and effort... but she can't do anything about a concussion. Only mend the physical damage and hope for the best, and hope she hasn't messed up somewhere along the line ( ... )

[It's about the opposite of a quick, smooth transition back into the waking world. Rather, the first thing Zoro is distantly aware of is the ringing in his ears-oddly piercing despite the fact that his head is for some reason stuffed over-full of cotton. Razor-edged cotton.

He almost fights waking in order to get away from awful splitting pressure of it-but some contrary part of him that makes him Roronoa Zoro instead seizes at the tatters of consciousness and claws his way back to it. He doesn't immediately register the water around his legs, who he's lying half on top of, the cold, the walls looming close and closed-just stirs, head rolling to the side with a groan...then jerks up in Nami's hold, forehead barely missing her chin.]

-Nnnn-whhaa??

[His eyes roll wildly. Where? What? Where? It's dark-who's that behind-where?]

[She has never been so relieved to be babbled at unintelligibly in her life. :| Even so, she nearly lets go of him at that sudden move, which would possibly have been an even more rude awakening, really - as it is, Zoro's lurching forward nearly topples them both into the water and she hauls back hard, already talking, her voice sharp:]

Stop that. You're a mess, don't make it worse.

[The ground by the river has been thoroughly mulched-there's no sign of anyone around except for the piece of Climatact that Brook found.

Note for a future point, however: after some time, a patch of ground will rumble from below and split upward. The opening cut out will be relatively small-considering who it came from-and will collapse again immediately. But it will give away that somebody is alive down there, and a very rough indication of where. Though not of how deep.]

[ It doesn't take long for Usopp to make his way over from CH 7- he probably even shows up in record time. It wasn't exactly good back there, but plenty of people were showing up to the buildings and (if he allows for a little optimism) it could definitely be worse, too.

Missing crew registers above other things right now, even if part of him feels like a bastard for admitting it. He keeps his stance on the cautious side in case running becomes necessary and takes a quick look around. ]

Brook? You still here?

Just over this way, Usopp-san! [Seeing as there's been no evidence of their nakama elsewhere, Brook's been keeping close to this spot. He has the piece to Nami's Climatact in hand.]

[ There you are, Brook. Usopp will just be joining you, thank you very much. That section of the Climatact gets a particularly sharp look- there are only, oh, about a million and a half ways she could have lost it or had it taken from her, and each one gets progressively worse than the last. Thinking of what could keep Zoro from checking in is just as bad because the guy bleeds like it's going out of style.

Yeaaaaaah. Sometimes he thinks it would be better not to be able to think that kind of stuff up. Turns out it makes panicking look like a great course of action. ] Still no other sign of them?
