[What does an extremely powerful sorceress do when threatened by a group of giant blue men?]

Meteor Storm!

[Summon meteors to smash into them, of course. It's hard to tell how much damage they do, but at least one of the things turns their attention to Arche, so... at least it's pretty obvious they noticed?]

[Tir isn't too far away. He casts a spell that creates a vast black ball of energy on one of the Shinjins. The resulting Hell spell completely removes the chunk of the massive titan that was there. Which isn't much, considering. But now it at least seems intent on crushing him. Lovely.]

[Well, that one's weakened, so maybe she can do more to it if she turns her attack that way? Let's find out.]

Explosion! [A massive orb of fire falls from the sky to crash into the creature. Not waiting to see the result, she calls down.]

Hey down there! What do you think of tag-teaming these things?

[He glances up at her after avoiding getting crushed.]

We can try. I don't think it's doing much good.

Well we can't just sit here! Tempest!

[The swirling winds batter at the Shinjin, forcing it a few steps back.]

[Must she name each of her attacks? It's a good thing they aren't going for the element of surprise. Well, Tir will join in with a second dose of Hell to take off another chunk. But he's about out of mana at this point.]

I'm just about out.

[Her canon's afflicted with the Calling Your Attacks trope, unfortunately.]

Do you need to fall back?

We both should. We've barely managed to- [Avoiding getting stepped on again.] -hurt this tone, much less the others.

... Damn, I don't want to admit it, but you're right.

[She flies down right next to him and holds out her hand.] Here! If you hop on we can get out of here quicker.

[He stares down at her hand for a second, as if to ask "Are you serious?" Well. This can't be much worse than riding on a dragon, right?]

... if you insist. [He's going to take that hand now. Please to not be dropping him.]

[She hefts him onto her broomstick which I probably should have mentioned she was riding.] It's fine. Just hold onto me and you'll be perfectly safe.

[Assuming they don't get stepped on while getting out of there, that is.]

[Psh. He's too polite to go wrapping his hands around her waist like some kind of pervert. He gets on the broom and just crosses his legs underneath him, hoping that will keep him on.]

I have absolute confidence in you. [He even makes that sound sincere!]

That makes two of us. [Her own tone is... jovially reassuring is the best way to put it.

At any rate, the broom is off, and... it's actually a remarkably smooth ride, though the starting acceleration is a bit more than she usually uses to avoid getting smooshed. Unfortunately the Shinjin aren't gonna let them by so easily. A large blue hand reaches out for the two...]

Oh crap. We're gonna move right hard! Hang on! [And just as she yells "hang on", she follows through with her warning, banking to the right to avoid that hand.]

[Hang on!? To what!? As soon as they go for that turn, Tir will quickly realize that he doesn't have nearly the leg strength to stay situated in one place while on a broom and will grab a hold around her immediately. Not too careful where his hands end up for that matter.]

I don't think he's very happy with us. [Maybe he can make their escape a little easier. He has one "Hell" leftover, which he aims at that very same hand. It won't be able to grab much of anything when everything inside that black sphere ceases to exist.]
