[in the midst of all the "chaos" and destruction of buildings and all that here, there is one boy who doesn't seem to be bothered by it. In fact, he doesn't seem to be alarmed at all. If anything, his eyes are watching these giants with something akin to excited awe. This is happening, isn't it?! This is where things are changing, isn't it?! Things are going to be better after this, right?! That means- and for that-

Despite giants walking all around him and destroying things, he stands at the doorstep of his Brigade building. Sure, it'll probably be demolished too, but who cares? This is real]

[ He'd spoken too soon clearly. Nothing dangerous, not trying to kill them, as long as it stayed that way he had no real issue with staying in this place. ]

[ He had a very big issue now. Where is there even to run when there are giant things knocking everything in sight down? And he catches sight of Haruki just standing there. ]

[ Nevermind there isn't far for anyone to go but there's something not quite right about the way he's watching this. ]

Because it's cool. [That's said simply as he watches one nearby pile-drive and arm into one of the shops, crushing most of the thing just then and there. ...Wow.]

[ Is that one coming closer? Shit, Alice thinks it's coming closer. Just going to grab Haruki and pull him somewhere not directly under a building. And he's still thinking about where would be a safe place to go. ]

[Tir is one of the people that will actually step up to try and fight one of those things off. He knows his staff won't do any good, so he will resort to using Soul Eater's most powerful spell. Four ghostly reapers are summoned around one of the Shinjins, all of which proceed to attack. From his vantage point, he can't tell if it actually did any good.

He did get its attention though, as the Shinjin stops what it's doing to try and stomp on him like it would a pesky rodent. Tir manages to roll out of the way in time... and will proceed to try and attack again. Someone stop him?]

Meteor Storm!

[Summon meteors to smash into them, of course. It's hard to tell how much damage they do, but at least one of the things turns their attention to Arche, so... at least it's pretty obvious they noticed?]

[Tir isn't too far away. He casts a spell that creates a vast black ball of energy on one of the Shinjins. The resulting Hell spell completely removes the chunk of the massive titan that was there. Which isn't much, considering. But now it at least seems intent on crushing him. Lovely.]

[Well, that one's weakened, so maybe she can do more to it if she turns her attack that way? Let's find out.]

Explosion! [A massive orb of fire falls from the sky to crash into the creature. Not waiting to see the result, she calls down.]

Hey down there! What do you think of tag-teaming these things?

[ Hey, guess what. A certain someone? Is staring at the Shinjin. Not moving to attack, or flee, or anything. Joshua's vibe is almost all the way up, leaving him in his adult body which I don't have enough iconed expressions for. His whole body is tensed, his wings wide, occasionally twitching. Beyond that he doesn't move, he isn't even breathing. Just staring. ]

[Despite Joshua looking older he's still recognizable to Neku. But... he's not looking so good. And Neku makes sure to approach him carefully, trying to keep his voice as calm as possible. That's kinda hard to do at the moment, though. So he's both tense and nervous.]

[ Joshua sways a little, but that's easily enough as likely a coincidence as it could be from actually hearing Neku. ]
