THE BATTLE

[This includes everyone except for Nami, Ginko, and those accompanying Sanji. When you have assembled your teams (please limit to two to three characters per thread), have the last person tagging in signal me to reply.)]

[The sight of Ginko's abduction is the same mountainous area it was a few days ago, only rainier now. There seemed to be no indication of life anywhere, although off in the mountains seemed to be a small cave leading inward. Faint signs of scorch marks are only vaguely visible on the rock, now nearly washed away as the rain continues to come down. Maybe the heroes picked the wrong spot?]

[Team WTF (Flynn, Moro, and Luffy) are totally gonna lead this shit. It takes a little while of searching, but they're going to find that inward cave there. Luffy cracks his knuckles as he looks into the cave]

Oi, you guys ready? [Like he really needs to ask. He already knows they are.]

[biteoffherhead]

[Moro simply shifts her weight, waiting for Luffy's lead.]

[Flynn nods, though Luffy wasn't even looking his way. As uneasy as Flynn should be with a giant wolf near him -- especially one who was said to be pretty hostile to humans -- he wasn't too freaked out. Gotta stay on focus, after all.]

Ready as I'll ever be. [Sword = Unsheathed.]

[And Luffy is heading into the cave now. Man it's kinda dark in here, but he tries to stay as alert as possible. Moro has a keen sense of smell so she'll be able to tell if any enemies are close by, or trying to sneak attack them.]

[Oh no you don't.

Look what's coming marching out of the cave to greet you. What could it be? Oh yes, an army of Akus. In the rain. Time to play the epic soundtrack.]

GONNA POST RITE QUICK

[Oh no, Aku is coming, what do we do gais! Luffy quickly bites down on his thumb and blows air into it, making it a giant's fist]

Gear Third! [And here, have a close up of that giant fist as it tries to knock your little army back down into the cave]

GIGANT PISTOL!!!

[And for all the good it does, the Aku soldiers are knocked down and the cave collapses. But through the rocks and rubble... an oozing black darkness continues out. Its nearly undetectable as the rain pours down, but it begins to take shape all over the battlefield.]

[Moro growls, leaping above the collapsed cave to watch from above.

[Well, Flynn could see how that was easier, but did Luffy really need to break the entrance to the cave?

It didn't matter; what was done was done. Flynn sighed and began to look around to see if something was amiss. That was too easy, wasn't it?]

[Too easy indeed. Moro was definitely the smart one, because black tendrils will be shooting up from the ground, latching on to the legs and arms of Flynn and Luffy, attempting to pull them down to the ground.]

[He transfers the air from his arm into his legs and feet. They're not as gigantic as his one fist used to be, but they're big enough so it's harder to pull him down. A little technique he learned from his training. Instead of transferring the air to just one limb he can separate it and transfer it to two if he needs to.]

[Flynn didn't expect that to happen, and it shows when he simply struggles against the tendrils and nothing special, unlike Luffy. He wasn't well prepared for something like this, and he couldn't cast an arte while he was stuck in a situation such as this.]

[Moro snarled, snapping at the tendrils.]

[Moro can have a nice big smile forming out of the black shadows, quickly taking shape into a massive spider that manages to dwarf even her in size. It immediately will start using it legs to try and prod her with its nice sharp talons.

Aku will struggle with trying to pull Luffy down, so with Flynn a little more firmly in his group, he'll wrap around Flynn and then slingshot him towards Luffy.]

[Flynn will be thrown into one of Luffy's rubber legs, so that should cushion the impact for him. If he's thrown too high up though, Luffy will stretch his hand down to quickly lower him to the ground.

Oh, hey giant spider trying to hurt Moro. Luffy transfers the air out of one of his legs and into his fist which will make him easier to pull down, but he has to risk it. With all his might he's going to try to slam that giant fist down on the Aku spider so even if it dodges he won't accidentally hit Moro. It may not look like it, but Luffy has easily taken down monsters twice Moro's size with one hit and that was without giant limbs.]
