Summary: Rena was abducted before him, but Haruki did promise to find her. Through some combination of his abilities, dumb luck, and droids not doing things right, him and Rena end up in the same cell on his... well a while after she shows up. He's not sure how long its been.
Rating: PG... to PG-13... idk?
It had been a long, difficult day. It was an absurd day on top of it. Haruki's memories were hazy; being escorted by robed figures who he suspected of being droids, sitting on a metal slab as ever... but at least this time he only had a headache, but his skull (literally) split open. And despite it all, whatever cocktail of drugs they had given him seemed to be wearing off. But... something was registered.
This wasn't the cell he had been in before they took him for 'examination' time, as he'd been dubbing it. He wasn't sure if that was yesterday or only hours ago; time was really hard to keep track of here. This is strange but more importantly...
His eyes weren't very adapted to this light. He fumbled... okay, his legs were working. His right hand was as busted as it always seemed to end up here. He leaned against one of the walls to his left and looked around the room. It wasn't particularly big, this room. But it was so dark- okay, his eyes were adjusting, at least. He looked to the left and-
