Oh, thanks Professor. I'm the one who suggested the canoes. I have someone, Usopp, who wants to help. But if there's some good shipwrights around here, that would go a long way to making sure the canoes will last.

I'm willing to teach anyone how to fight if needed. I can teach them how to use a sword and basic hand to hand combat.

...Might I also suggest that perhaps a sort of training facility should be built? Having a sort of place where people can come to learn various different skills might come useful.

Yes, I think it would be a good location to establish a sort of school to teach people how to fight. If there is enough interest to maintain one and people willing to offer lessons, I think we should consider it.

That often seems to be the trouble with organizing. Gathering interest, going forward with the idea and maintaining it all take time. Hopefully people will take it into consideration, especially with the war.

[She's not certain he remembers being there, so there's a little pause before she continues-] I'm aware of a few other projects that are being spearheaded by other residents, such as the restructuring of the barricades surrounding the village, among other things. It would depend on what you would feel comfortable in assisting with.
