The Common Knowledge Meme
While Luceti might seem pretty big, for a village, it's actually rather small. Naturally, there are a lot of characters out there who've probably never threaded before, but should realistically know each other. And since it'd be impossible to thread out every second of every day, here's something that might make things a bit easier!
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Post with your characters and list things that could be considered common knowledge around the village. Include anything you think people living in the village might know, even if they might have never met/spoken directly. Feel free to make categories if you are so inclined!
Things you might include could be...
An average day or week for your character.
Things people would notice right away by looking at them (how they dress, notable scars, etc.).
Behaviors people might notice by seeing them often.
Places they can usually be found at and what they do there.
Small facts that might come up in conversation about your character.
Little things your character does for other villagers (job, at school, etc.).
2. Then, reply to other people with revelant common knowledge/headcanon between your characters!
Things you might include could be...
How your characters might know each other (classmates, co-workers, neighbors, etc.).
Anything specific they might have noticed about them recently (eg. changes in activity).
How often they see each other/spend time with each other.
Recent developments they might be aware of that have likely been handwaived.
Who they might be familiar with by proxy (eg. someone who complains talks about their housemates a lot).
3. Use this opportunity for plotting things! Got something you think your character's CR should know about but haven't had a chance for it to come up? Is there someone your character sees often enough that they should start making delicious CR? Now's your chance!
