Even if they weren't currently dating, Giles is the person most important to Ginia. He's many things to things; someone she can count on because he's always there and has always been there, someone she trusts to watch her back, a person she deeply respects and admires, and someone she can really be herself around. Giles is really the first person to see her fight and realize there's definitely a lot more to her than a nice, friendly person with a very curious nature.

And really, Giles has seen the most of her. He's seen her at her happiest and at her worst and really knows the worst parts of her history. If there's anyone who she trusts enough to hold those secrets and not share them and not turn her away, it's him.

However, they are dating, and she's very much in love with him. It's really a complete thing where yes, she is physically attracted to him, but what really got her attention first was how intelligent he was. All their conversations over whatever over tea and just the nice, simple moments were really what drew her to him. There was a very nice sense of comfort around him and falling in love was easy.

Really, even after dating for a month (two months by next week), not much has changed between them. They're much closer, intimately and emotionally, but there hasn't been a sudden shift or anything. It's all been very natural between them.

Right now one of Ginia's biggest fears is Giles being sent home, especially knowing he's already dead. There's a smaller, secondary fear of Jenny appearing and she still hasn't sorted that out yet, but it's not as big a concern. However, knowing things could end any moment, she's making the best of it and really enjoying every moment she has with him. What does she expect long-term? She's not sure, because long-term is a hard thing to say. There are people that have been here for four years, others a week or so, while others who have been around for years have gone home. But whatever time they have, she'll stay with him.

tl;dr: Sometimes you aren't as broken as you think you are.
