For Continuity's sake:

You, Rupert Giles, are still somewhat of a prat. HOWEVER. However. You did turn into a small child who enjoyed piracy. And even though the timing of that was soul-crushingly BAD for Jack Sparrow, that's points, that is. Also? You dislike Angel. More points. And you love Buffy. More points. Oh, we're still hovering in the "dislike" portion of the spectrum but its intensity is waning, you might say, and being replaced by...less-intense dislike. Annoying? Yes. But not hated. The height of Jack's positive feelings toward you can still be pinpointed to that time you turned into a dragon. That might possibly be the best that can be hoped for.

Their trend of getting along best when Giles is experimented into something continues. This...probably says a lot about Giles, actually.

Still. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". Jack has his tacit "approval" now mostly by virtue of not being Angel.

Vash is the best drinking buddy a pirate could hope for. Sadly, though, Jack considers Vash the sort that can be taken advantage of during these sessions, chiefly to provide amusement for himself and Raven.

That's not to say that Jack is trying to BULLY the gunfighter or anything of the kind; more that he is not above exploiting Vash's goodwill to create mayhem in the village. Hey---Luceti gets boring sometimes, doesn't it?

Gilbert: Ugh. No. Gilbert. Where Gilbert is there lie Painful Things. We are not frightened of you, but after what Vincent did? To Murphy? You are going to be avoided, for the most part. Murphy's life is far more important than larking about with your odd hat.

Jack finds Ayumu to be a rather strange woman. Their last long conversation threw him for a loop, considering all of the different fruits she had never heard of and was unwilling to try.

He actually ENJOYED doing her laundry, oddly. >> One day there might be a rematch in darts, if he is feeling bored.

He's perfectly welcome to help with laundry any time he likes, without a forfeit involved. She'd just like to say.

Jack is mostly glad that Derek is BACK. When McCoy left, he looked around and realized that the number of people he could trust had seriously dwindled, and Derek helps to bolster that number. On the other hand, he also values Derek as someone else who loves and understands the ocean, and as a surfing buddy. It's a connection he has with few people in Luceti, really, but it is an important one.
