APPEARANCE:

And, because I know Cata will just hunt it up anyway:
ALSO, since I am playing Giles from S8, which is in comic book form, only fair to include a picture of that. This one is technically preseries, but it's not easy to find comic book stills of Giles.
Nowadays, Giles dresses far more casually than the librarian shots from the early seasons might lead you to believe. Trench coat, decent if slightly baggy shirt, and jeans on a normal day.
And photoshopped over at salvage_5x5, but I had to include it.
HEIGHT: IMDB Places Anthony Head, and therefore Giles, at 6'1". Good Lord. Physically intimidating when he wants to be, is what I'm saying. Thank you, Cata.
WEIGHT: Giles is pretty solidly built. Coupled with his height and his muscle weight - and a good chunk of his weight is muscle, from hardcore combat training over the last thirty or forty years - I'd put him somewhere from 225 to 240 lbs.
POSTURE: Giles actually has remarkably good posture when he's standing or moving around. Very straight backed, very even walking pace, really no determinable slouching. When sitting down and especially when occupied, however, that changes. He'll hunch over whatever he's reading, automatically leans towards whoever he's talking to if he's sitting down, and just generally looks a bit more relaxed.
