Being in Luceti was certainly an eye opener for him. Not only has he met many cute interesting girls people and learned that being a giant ball of fur at will isn't such a bad thing, he's also started to come to terms with his jealousy and even formed a truce with Edward Cullen... even if he still doesn't like the guy very much.
He's still a little cautious about showing people the wolf. Kairi and Riku get this by default because they're close to him... and he met them as it and had no clothes to change into at the time. Buffy is also an expert on the weird and is thus allowed to see this.
Jacob never wearing a shirt started off as a joke, but now it's actually Luceti Canon (as well as Twilight canon, a derpaderp). He feels no cold because of his freakishly high body temperature and doesn't need to wear one to keep warm. They're also a pain because while throwing on pants behind a bush is easy, throwing on a shirt and pants is really difficult.
And... Jacob and dating. He's a little more open to the idea that it's okay to move on. His Imprint on Rosalie, no matter her actions, was the happiest he'd been in a long time. HOWEVER, it has soured him against Imprinting even further because having no control over that terrified him.
