Re: BLU Scout [reserve] - 3/3!battaswingMarch 2 2010, 21:45:33 UTC
Weaknesses:
Mentally: Scout is easy to trick and confuse; give him a list of commands and he'll forget about half. It is because he thinks on impulse that he tends to forget things or will mix things up. When against stacked odds, he may drop his arrogant act and suddenly become nervous and unsure which affects his logical thought. Instead of the disciplined fighter he is, he becomes a haphazard mess of poor aim and even worse movement control.
Physically: Low health makes Scout an easy target which is why he relies so heavily upon his speed; if cornered or slowed, he will go down in a few hits especially when caught in a cross fire. His caffeine/sugar rush does not gradually wear off. When Scout crashes, he crashes hard; his speed, agility and stamina are about halved for a few moments until he is able to catch his breath or find another source of energy.
Emotionally: There are times when he may lose his cool and panic. If Scout is overwhelmed, up against stacked odd perhaps, his thoughts cloud over which causes poorly made decisions. The downside to being expressive is that he cannot hide his emotions very well, making him very easy to read. He has a slight temper which is normally controlled, but with his tendency to panic, it can block out logical thinking.

Woah, woah, woah. Hold on a sec here.
This is not the base 'cos I know we didn't get moved 'n'--Hell is this? …Wings? No. Way. Not cool, guys, not cool! Yeah, I bet youse think you're real, smart, huh? Let's put somethin' in Scout's food so he'll pass out 'n' then we can stick freakin' girly wings to his back!
Lookin' at you, Medic.
You're all gonna get a real beatin' when I find'ya!
I can't even get 'em off! The hell kinda glue did they use? Seriously. [The rest is angry grumblings.]
Third Person:
This whole small village forest thing was freaking Scout out. It was uncharted territory and might as well have been an enemy base; he was responding to it the same way. Although he was used to the red sand desert and gravel pit battle fields--where he knew every route and then some--it was not the scenery that bothered him. In truth, he enjoyed the view change. Civilian life is what bothered him, this walk-around-and-do-nothing way of life that didn't involve fighting and bloodshed. He wasn't even sure he could call it "civilian life" seeing as the typical stresses of money and occupations seemed to be nonexistent. It was dull, it was boring and every other related synonym and Scout did not like it; especially the wings.
After spending ten minutes wandering around, he was still lost. Scout had managed to gather some information on the place, but nothing that would help with his current situation. He knew it was a village, with a forest, some lakes, mountains, and a ton of houses with a lot of people. Other than that, he was clueless. Or maybe that was the gist of everything. What would he know? He was too busy trying to figure out what the hell was going on. The Bostonian peeked into buildings and tried to seem as if he were going somewhere. With every house he passed, he was beginning to wonder where he was supposed to go. There had to be a place, right? Right. If only he could find it. Hell, even a cardboard box would be fine. He put that all aside for now as his real task was finding his team mates. He didn't mind being lost, in apparent enemy territory (he hadn't seen anyone that looked like an enemy yet anyway), but he did mind not having the rest of BLU around. Bullshit on that, he thought. The hell am I thinkin'? I don't need 'em. 'Sides, they're the ones that did this to me anyway.
