Character
Name: Arnold Casey Jones Fandom: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2k3 series) Gender: Male Age: Never really specified in the series, but I'd agree with 27-30. Time Period: Season 4. Wing Color: Black. History: Here. (Ah, down towards the appropriate series section, but if you don't think it's enough, let me know.) Personality: Arnold Casey Jones is pretty simple on the surface. Tell him what to hit and he'll hit it. Insult him or his friends and he'll kick your ass. Or try to, depending on who you are. Call him Arnold instead of Casey and he'll consider that same method. Unless you're April or his mother. For all appearances he's just an unintelligent sports fanatic who happens to be nuts in that he puts on a hockey mask to beat up street thugs every night. But there is more to him than that. Uh. Most of the time.
Casey is, first and foremost, ruled by his heart. If he's angry, if he's depressed, if he's confused- you'll know it and without any pussyfooting around. His method of dealing is blunt, maybe because he's just no good at being subtle. He's reckless and brash, not likely to think before acting, and violent when he thinks it will get things done. But for all the roughness there is something of a softer side. If he sees a kid off crying, he'll ask the little guy what's wrong. He'll go out of his way to help a person in trouble, no matter how dangerous it is to him (sometimes he does possess enough foresight to recognize when things are over his head, at which point he'll go to the guys for help). He talks like a tough guy but on the inside he can be such a softie.
Casey has long since come to grow accustomed to strange sights and circumstances after getting involved with the guys. Time travel, invisible ninjas, storming skyscrapers of doom, brainwashing, you name it. While at first being acquainted with the TMNT and Master Splinter was kind of off-putting, they've come to be a new family for him. I'd say that for the most part he serves the role of...kind of a close uncle to the guys, for the most part, sometimes teetering into older brother territory. He can be very protective of their welfare and sometimes drags them into his own personal shenanigans, which can result in safety fail. But overall he genuinely cares about what happens to them and will be loyal to the death. Therefore: you mess with one of them and they mention it, you deal with Casey. Even though they can probably kick more ass than he could.
A very important part of Casey to mention here is his ongoing stint as a hockey-mask-sporting vigilante on the streets of New York. He made the decision to take crime and punishment into his own hands and that was the result. It served as an outlet for his rage, a way to (in his opinion) contribute something actually useful to society where the police failed to do so. Of course, it also gained him a slew of enemies amongst street gangs, which came back to bite him after a while.
He has a habit of diving into business that's not his own- sometimes because he knows someone who really IS involved, or sometimes just because he's out looking for a good fight. Either way he's likely to dive into a situation without a second thought, swinging for home (and yes, his arsenal does include baseball bats. Pun?).
So in a nutshell: emotional, big-hearted, reckless, semi-psychotic, sports fanatic tough-guy vigilante who would do whatever it took to help out a pal or an innocent bystander.

(( ffff, it's been pointed out to me now that he's specified as 25. And I can't edit that one, haa. /never happened ))
Strengths: Physical: For your average human being, Casey is pretty damn strong. He doesn't have any super-abilities, but he can carry a hefty amount of weight and put a lot of power behind his strikes. He also appears to have no problem making the rounds via roof-jumping like his green pals in most episodes he's appeared in. And like several cartoon characters, he's capable of withstanding quite a bit of damage. You know, hurled backwards into a brick wall or beaten up and held in captivity only to kick ass a few minutes later. Emotional: He can be a very understanding person- good for venting to, good for picking a stress-releasing fight with, that kind of thing. He's a decent hand at reading people, likely to determine in the first few minutes of meeting someone whether or not they're less than desirable company. It doesn't always work, true- he and Raph started off on a particularly bad foot and just look at them now- but it's consistent enough to come in handy. Mental: Casey Jones has street smarts, and he has them in spades. He knows his home turf like the back of his hand and he is occasionally resourceful enough to use that to his advantage. Also excellent at providing distractions, though I'm not sure whether that counts as a mental strength.
Weaknesses: Physical: He's tough and resilient, but he's still just a normal human being. If you stab him, shoot him, push him off of a cliff, hit him over the head enough times, he'll go down and he'll probably go down hard. Even if he doesn't act like it, he's still completely mortal and able to be injured. Emotional: Temper, temper, temper. He's hotheaded in a manner that rivals Raphael and, despite the fact that he's improved a bit over the course of the series, it's still likely to show. He can be distracted by this. Casey also tends to be very reckless in regards to his own safety. Apart from that, he's just an emotional guy in general. Wears his heart on his sleeve and can't stand to leave a person in trouble when he could at least try to help. Sometimes logical thinking loses out to this trait. Mental: Street smarts, yes, but book smarts are not his strong suit. He can read and write and pay his bills (how he manages this without proof of a steady canon job is beyond me), but he never seemed to see the need to go out of his way to learn what, in his opinion, he wouldn't need.

First Person:
[ Brief rustling, then a muffled groan. ] Jeez, someone get the license plate of the truck that hit me...? This is- [ A sudden silence. ] - not the farmhouse.
What the heck is-? H-hey! Guys? April? Master Splinter? You around here?
[ A lengthy pause. ] I'm not playin' around here! Go movin' a guy around when he's asleep, like I'll just let you get away with it- If you give it up now I'll go easy on ya! Let's go! You better still have my clothes, too!
This isn't funny, you guys!
[ Yet another pause. ] ...guys?
Third Person:
Well it didn't take a genius to figure out that this wasn't New York City or the family farmhouse. Might need one to figure out how he'd ended up here and how he could get back, but for now Casey Jones was more concerned with figuring out exactly where 'here' was, what had happened to his stuff and whether or not he was the only one that ended up dumped out in the woods. A lot of weird stuff happened around the guys, he'd admit, and this probably wasn't the weirdest, but it was still annoying and they got into all kinds of trouble without him around to watch their backs.
So when he finally found his stuff he'd poke around and see if anyone had noticed any- uh, anything really unusual lately.
And once he'd taken care of that, he was gonna find out who did this to him and then he would beat them until they looked in a mirror and couldn't remember if their face had always looked like that or not. Then he was gonna beat them bloody again for thinking they had the right to stick a pair of wings on his back. There were some things you just didn't do to a guy, and that was one of them. Along with kidnapping him, taking his clothes, taking his weapons and leaving him in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a book.
It didn't even have anything in it, and he didn't have a pen to write with, so what good was it gonna do him? He kept it at hand on principle; if something went down he could always whap a guy over the head with the thing, right? Right. After a few minutes or hours or maybe a couple of days, he didn't know and he didn't care, Casey finally saw the beginning signs of civilization. He paused for a moment to give it a brief glance over. Not much of a town- no street lights, no cars, no telephone poles. It just figured.
“If I find out this is some kind of joke, I'll show 'em who's laughin',” he muttered darkly, cracking his knuckles. With that in mind, he started walking again.
