(no subject)
Today's fishing trip was pretty good. Had a lot of 'first and onlys" out there. I was the first and only person to learn how to navigate a boat(besides my dad, obviously), the first and only person to catch anything all day, and unfortunately, the first and only person to get wet. Oh yeah, also the first and only person out there wearing pants instead of shorts, so you can probably imagine what it was like getting soaked in those. -_-;
Brother didn't show up until AFTER we were about to leave, so we ended up staying an extra 4 hours since he had driven 100 miles to be there. By that point, I was already spent so I opted to lay in the car and sleep. I had forgotten how relaxing fishing can be. It's great to do when you need to get away for a while and think. Though I always feel bad when baiting my hook with live bait, even though it never stops me for long.
After thinking though, I've decided I'm going to drop Marsha a line after all. I'll worry about the phone call later. For now, I need to shower and get the smell of pond water off me.
