Hey, what's going on. Not much with me, just being kind of cranky I guess. Honestly, this has been one of the shittiest weekends I've had in a long time and my poor poor brain is not taking it very well. I can't remember the last time things went that bad at a party.... anyway, now I know better for next time. You have much more fun when you party with a few people. You have much more fun when everyone isn't absolutely wasted. You seem to have way more fun if you just stay in fucking Amherst. And, hanging out with people who are mature enough to drink helps a lot too.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all bad. Yesterday afternoon me, Al, Jen, and Wheaty went to Moncton, met up with Ray, and had a really good time. After I "dragged" Wheaty to the sex shop, we went to the pumphouse brewery for supper. And was it ever worth the wandering we did trying to find it (half an hour's worth in the freezing cold!). :) Me and Wheaty tried all these different kinds of beer (we both finally settled on blueberry) and the food was absolutely amazing. I swear the burger I got was as big as my hand, and the fries were unbelievable. We ate like pigs :) And after that, we went to the mall and went shopping. It was a lot of fun.
The rest of the weekend pretty much sucked, though. On Friday I got stuck staying at home, which was definitely not what I'd planned to do. It was Mom's birthday, and Denise and the kids were down, so I'm kind of glad I did, but it still was a bit of a letdown after planning to do something else all night. And then last night, man, it was just really shitty. I didn't really have fun at all, except for a bit at the beginning, when I was just catching up with a few people, and at the end, when I had an interesting conversation about farming and a duck called Ferdinand. :) But in between... well I am just not going to talk about it. Let's just say I think I'm going to take a bit of a break from partying there. Maybe I'll go to Jodi's more, or maybe Wheaty and Dwayne's, or maybe just take it easier on the weekends. I don't know. It seems like every time I go to Sackville I end up not having fun. And last night people just really got on my nerves. When I drink I like to talk to people and catch up on how they are, or joke around, or play drinking games, stuff like that. Listening to hours of screaming, or watching people do anything to get attention, or hearing whole rooms talk about you when you're not there, are not really my idea of fun things to do at a party. And not getting along with people isn't really either.
But anyway. It's over. And I should probably get going, nobody wants to hear about my bitchiness, me included. And Al or Ben just called, and ich habe auch zuviel Deutsche Hausaufgabe tun. So talk to yas all later and have a good week. Bye
