Hey, how's it going? I'm not too bad, a little brain dead though. You know how it is when you've been trying to listen to profs and find your new (and constantly-hiding-and-disappearing) classrooms all day. Your mind just wants to shut off for a while and you don't want to walk or think any more.
Going back to school was better than I expected, though. In German Renata didn't waste any time and jumped right into subordinating conjunctions (oh boy) but hahaha we did them last year. And the psych course doesn't look too bad, and Jess, Kellie, and Jessica (and apparently Shubert) are all in it. So that should be a fun class, and hey there are no essays *yesss* :)
My other courses are American Lit (the prof is going to be a riot in that one), Canadian Lit, and Lit by women. And Japanese history--a 3rd year course with over a hundred people in it. The prof was some pissed: "I'm sure you're all very nice people but this is an abomination!!!" :) I'm thinking he's gonna be a character too.
And besides school, things have been going decently well. There was a surprise birthday party for Jess on Friday night, which was a really good time. It was nice to see everyone again, and it was a cool place to party. And on Saturday I spent the day with Joe, who had it off for the first time in what seems like years. I ended up staying there until Sunday night because of the huge snowstorm, but it was pretty fun. A lot of the time was spent playing games (Joey) and reading books (me) but it's really kind of nice to have someone to hang out with that you don't always feel obligated to talk to. All the down time together made it a really relaxing kind of weekend, something I wouldn't mind having more of.
And that's about all that's been going on, really. Oh except for the fact that I have something like five books to read in this one week! So I should probably get reading (or at least get finding the books in that huge box they came in) :( See yas later. :)
