(no subject)
Hey, what's new? Not much is going on with me. I'm sitting here and downloading music and looking at websites and reading a book (no, not a school book). There's nothing like avoiding exam studying. :)
So I had a pretty good weekend, although it was pretty exhausting. I hardly slept Wednesday and Thursday, thinking Hey I can sleep on the weekend. Well that didn't work at all. I think I was up until something like 5 am on both Friday and Saturday.
But it was a lot of fun, though. On Friday, me, Joe, April, and James went to see the early movie (They--it was okay but really had no point at all except to try and scare you). And after the movie everybody went down to Chris and Greg's, which was a really good time. Greg wasn't home but Chris was, and he's so cool. I love nice people. :) But anyway, everybody all met up there, and got pretty sloshed. We listened to some of Wheaty's hilarious stories and some really good music, and happily ate like pigs (Thank you Jess!). We hung out there for a couple hours, and then went down to Dooly's. We didn't stay long, just long enough to play a couple games of pool and to see Maria (Joey's aunt) tottering around "How am I going to get home? I forget how to walk!" Was it ever funny.
So after that we went up to Duncan's, which was cool. They had a band again, and Joey didn't yell at them this time :) He did, however, disappear off with this 70 year old man. And sang Frank Sinatra songs. (???) The old man seemed nice, but he was highly insulted when I told him I didn't know any Sinatra songs off by heart. He didn't pay much attention to me after that, and him and Joey went off and sang (Sinatra, I assume) with the band.
However, thank God, Alex McFarlane (the guy who works at the theatre) showed up and talked to me this whole time (April and James were off cuddling on the couch, and I had no desire to interrupt that). So we drank and talked and had a good time, and made fun of Joe and his new old friend. :)
So I was pretty smashed by the time the bar was closed, and we somehow got to Joe's house with these people I didn't know. And drunk as we were we still managed to stay up until like five in the morning, talking and stuff. I haven't been that drunk in ages, and I forgot how much fun it is. :)
Of course I paid for it in the morning, and in spite of my monstrous hangover went Christmas shopping with Joe, and then home into my nice soft bed. But even then I couldn't sleep, because everyone was calling "let's go to Sackville tonight!" So Jesse ended up coming and getting me, and we all went over to Sackville. It was pretty uneventful but fun, except when Jen and Ray got in this huge fight over me and Joey. They were standing outside screaming at each other and we're just like huh? I felt kind of bad about it, but I guess they're getting along fine now.
And then we went back to town (I was pretty drunk, again) and I stayed at Joe's again, and then went home. And still didn't get to sleep because I had to go to church. And then went to Joe's and watched tv for a bit, and ate way too much take out, and then went home again. And slept until this afternoon. :)
And that's about it really. Cleaned my room today, and worked out, and ate, and put a lot of pictures in books, and read a couple books, and didn't study at all... not too exciting eh.
But yeah. I think my nice comfortable bed is calling to me again, and this is getting to be quite a novel. I think I've been reading too much. Sorry :( Night everybody.
