How well he's read, to reason against reading.
Prodeeded well, to stop all good proceeding.
He weeds the corn, and still lets grow the weeding.
The spring is near when green geese are a-breeding.
- Shakespeare, in one of his more amusing moments (from Love's Labour's Lost)
Wow, it's been ages since I've written in here. I think it's because I have nothing new or interesting to say, really. Actually I don't have anything new or interesting to say now either... I've just been doing slightly different variations of the same old thing. Still hang out with the boys (and the all-important--and bratty--kitty), still obsess about (not doing) all my schoolwork, still copy editing (and getting progressively more annoyed at it), still here, basically. I guess I'm just trying to get through this semester... the last one here! Pretty scary--I don't take change all that well, especially when I have to leave my friends *sob*--but exciting, too, I guess. Right now I'm thinking of moving to Halifax, living with Jen, and taking Public Relations... I'm not positive how that'll all work out, and I still might go to Germany. But either way I just have to get through these next four months... and it's not starting well. I've done absolutely no school reading (but have been reading quite a bit of everything else), I've played ridiculous amounts of Banjo-Kazooie (that game is horribly addictive!!), and I've gone to the gym a lot. But not a bit of school work has gotten done... *sigh*. I can't even make myself clean my room or do my dishes or even talk on the phone... entirely way too much work. But for some strange reason I'm still typing in here. Hmmm.
But at least I've been having fun, though. Like today, I went to Fort B sledding, and it was awesome. A bit windy :) (and -30) but really slippery hills and lots of fluffy snow. And exploring is always fun... and hey, I'm being practical and applying all the knowledge I've (supposedly) learned from my Can. Hist class, right? It's so much fun to see history rather than just hear about it... the whole eddy-rebellion-attack-on-the-fort-thing seems so much more realistic when you can wander around and be like "now just where was that tavern that got everyone blown up?" and "no wonder those boys needed a drink out here!" Gives you such a greater appreciation for the whole 18th c. soldier bit. Good times. :)
So yes. Enough of that. And keeping with my recent ideal of laziness, I think I'm going to go to sleep. The whole Argosy editing for hours thing has made me incredibly tired and annoyed at even my own writing... Ugh. See yas.
