Hey! Wow, it's been a long time since I've written in here. I don't have a computer anymore *sniff* which really sucks, but hey, since I'm stuck at work tonight in a torrential rainstorm, I thought I'd write something.
I've been keeping pretty busy lately, I guess... Work's kind of taken over my life, but that's not really new. Right now it's worse than usual, though, since my Senior Summer School thing (i.e. rich American well-educated Jewish seniors come to Sackville) is going on. Last weekend was insane... I worked 48 hours in four days, which I can honestly say I've never done before! By the end of it I wasn't sure whether to drop dead, or just walk around in a senior-daze talking perkily and driving awful minivans around in circles. :) I ended up making four trips to Halifax during my work-bender, and one to Truro because--get this--the window of the minivan I was driving decided to smash all over the inside of the van (I HATE minivans!!!). I ended up sitting in Truro for an hour and then driving around to find yet another van rental place... can you imagine me driving aimlessly around Truro in a giant "mini"van with no window and glass all over it??? It was cute, I tell you.
Besides that, though, life has been pretty good. The seniors are so amazing... they have the most interesting stories and have done so many incredible things. I feel really stupid around them sometimes, but it's been really fun. I get to go to Halifax again tomorrow with them, which should be better than last weekend (I'm not driving this time, thank goodness!).
Besides seniors, though, I've been keeping pretty busy... I've been biking a lot lately, and spending a lot of time (and money) in Moncton, and going to a lot of movies, hanging around with the boys, going to the beach... Me and Susie are going out to her cottage sometime soon for a couple days, and I'm going to try to get out to see Colin and Wendie sometime too. And Andrew and Denise! My sister is seven months pregnant and I haven't even seen her in like a year! (no not Jen!) But I do miss Jen too. Jen's coming up this weekend but I have to go to Halifax... grrr.
Anyway, it sounds like the thunder and flooding has died down a little bit... maybe I'll try to make my way outside and see what happens. See yas! :)
