Hey, what's going on? I'm not too bad, in spite of the horrid weather. When I walk, I feel like I'm bent over at a 45 degree angle no matter which way I'm going. And then there's the snow and the freezing rain and the cold, and then, the fact that none of my classes got cancelled. :( Talk about disappointing.
Besides that, though, things have been pretty good. This is my second day (in a row!!!) of escape from the theater. You have no idea how good this feels... just the thought of no counting and no popcorn is making my head spin. And, to add to the goodness, my German lab got cancelled this afternoon! No reflexive verb conjugations! I'm beside myself with happiness. :)
Anyway. My weekend went really well too, which was a surprise. I really didn't expect to have that much fun, seeing as how I'm chained to the popcorn machine, but it ended up being a really good time. On Friday we went to Adam's birthday party in Sackville, and it was a blast. There were so many people there! I had a lot of fun, and it was great to catch up with everybody.
And on Saturday I had to work until about 10:30, but it didn't end up being too bad. Joey, April and James went to the late movie, so when I was done we all met up and went over to Wheaty's. The boys ended up playing some kind of complicated video game that I didn't pay any attention to, and Wheaty had gone to Moncton, but me and April ended up talking for quite a while. Then when her and James left I talked to Leon for an hour or so, and then I went downstairs and bothered Trevor and Cameron (when he wasn't puking all over the place!). :) It's always such a good time hanging out over there. I've known them all for so long, and they don't change on you... you know you're always going to get along with them, and you can bother them anytime. It's great. :)
And Sunday was Joey's birthday, but he didn't want to do anything except play video games. So we played video games for what seemed like a very long time (in reality it was only, oh, five hours or so). It ended up being pretty fun, though... I even beat him a couple times (you have no idea how catastrophic this was). Even when the power was off (for like three hours) it was a laugh. I get such a kick out of Joe, you should have seen the protest he put up when he found out he couldn't play video games or watch tv (the two most important things in his life). "No tv and no video games make Joey something something..." Heehee. What a character.
So it was a really good weekend... but uhhh seeing how I've spent all this time typing about it I'm going to be late for class. Oops. So yeah, see yas later, have a good one, and wish me luck putting up with Eric for twenty-five hours this week *groan* Bye :)
