Bionic Woman - last mission?

This article discusses a rumor that show isn't coming back after the writers/ strike. I have about 4 episodes on my DVR that I just haven't had the desire to watch. I keep hoping to read a review saying that this episode or that is a "not to be missed". Nada.
CAN anybody in Hollywood produce a female action hero? Granted there have been a few - Xena, Buffy, Alias - but not many. Now they will say the audience doesn't watch female lead action - no we don't watch bad shows. Like I've read they are optomistic that the Christmas movie season will be good because Enchanted did so well. Make good movies and we will come. Especially family movies.
I will say - Woman's Murder Club is my favorite of the new season. I was disappointed with the pilot, but I'm enjoying it now. I was disappointed about the powering down of the characters and differences between the show and the books. But it improved or I got over it or both.

And the bottom line is that Bionic Woman simply isn't (or, possibly, wasn't) a good TV series. It was very shaky back on week 1 and it never really got any better which accounts the huge drop in viewership since its debut.
