Did you happen to see the news item a few months ago about Food Network's Robert Irvine (Dinner Impossible). He was caught "embellishing" his resume. Embellishing. Is that a British term for lying? BS from Leeds (no record or his attending); cooked for US Presidents - he worked in the Navy Mess in the West Wing but White House Chef said Irvine never worked in the executive residence or state dinners; a Knight - Irvine admits that was a lie; etc. etc.
Needless to say, FN didn't renew his contract and this week announced Iron Chef, Michael Symon was the new host of Dinner Impossible.
I never watched Dinner Impossible because couldn't stand Irvine. He was almost as unwatchable as Sandra Lee.
