It had taken far too long for Adam to finally snap out of his apathetic state, but when he did, the fear, confusion, and anger had hit him with colossal force. There were too many unanswered questions about that night. His memory remained fragmented and the few things he could recall filled him with terrible dread. He couldn't stand it any longer.

“I need you to promise to hear me out until the end. There’s a lot that went on that night that no one understands. Part of what happened I only saw through the mirror, so you may need to ask Sora for the rest, but this is what I know.”
“You two were… fighting. And I don’t think you recognized him, because I know you wouldn’t have fought so hard against a friend like that. But Sora needed to make you stop, so he fought back. You were hurt badly. By the time I arrived, he had left.”
Belle knew this was hard for him to hear, but she feared the next part of the story would be even more difficult.
“There’s more. When I was there with you, something happened. It didn’t last for more than a minute, but.…”
That she had gained this and lost it again, and still couldn’t find the reason why, made it hard for Belle to finish the sentence. But she owed him that much.
“Adam, for a moment you were human again.”
