“Cause believe me, buddy. I'm not in the best of moods right now."Rikku stared at the other people in the hotel. This is why she wanted to go exploring because she knew that there had to be something more interesting than that small café that stole her shiny munny. A man flying through a roof definitely counted as more interesting, and how could he

"'Sweetheart' better?" he taunted her teasingly. At least he happened to be dealing with two people that didn't have sticks up their asses. And an eyebrow was most certainly raised when the other man reached down to accept the weird balls she'd rolled in their general direction. Was that what they used as money here? It was damned shame he'd left his Superball collection at home apparently.
"Anyway, whatever. You guys, and gal of course, got names so I know who to ask for when I come back here? I gave you mind, after all," he muses casually, taking again to leaning against the nearest wall. "I'm game for this little Home Improvement BS if you are."

The inquiry as to where he was going was understandable, so he had no issue about being truthful. "I'm going to see if I can find Cloud..."
No time for side-conversations, though. They had to deal with Dante first. He looked over at the white-haired one and nodded. "I'm Zack. If you have one of those journal things, we can keep contact through that, too." That would have been a great idea a few minutes earlier since they could contact him through that, but it had only occurred to Zack now, so oh well. It was probably better to just have Dante fix the thing anyway.

"Well if you guys have everything figured out I think I'll be off. Can't stay couped up for long." Rikku said over her shoulder heading towards Ed's room. She had to tell Yuna where she was going after all. "Nice meeting you Dante," She said with a wink. Men in Traverse Town weren't like the ones from her Islands...they weren't well..boring.

Well, if Zack was going to find Cloud, that meant...well, fuck, it meant Sephiroth was going to be left with Dante. Screw THAT. He had no interest in supervising the strange man; anyway, all this talk of journals had reminded him that his needed updating, as well as his natural desire to check and make sure he'd recorded the notes that Axel had stolen the original copies of. Without them, the meeting he and the others had been planning would be more or less a moot point... "See if he knows where Aerith is," he remarked to Zack. "If you can find them both and bring him back here, we still need to talk about the Heartless."

Attention was again brought back to the matter of the roof in question. Pale, blue eyes drifted up to look at the hole and a sigh escaped his lips again. Just his fucking luck, really. Well, whatever. He'd given Zack and Sephiroth his word, and he wasn't going to go back on that.
A white eyebrow was raised as they began to talk about having a meeting or something and finding some guy named Cloud and a chick named Aerith. The rest of it really went over Dante's head since he was decidedly not all that interested in their gay tea parties or whatever.
"I hope you guys ain't expectin' me to just wait around while you go have your little pow-wow. You can have my journal name and everything if you gimme a piece of paper to write it down, but I gotta get settled, find a place to stay in this shithole... yadda, yadda, yadda." He waved a hand dismissively. "Want me to stop by later or tomorrow or somethin' to fix the

Still, there was Dante. He frowned. It wasn't like they could keep him prisoner here, so he figured that the journal thing would work out well enough for now. But paper was necessary. He headed off into one of the only vacant rooms left in the hotel, raided its desk for said items, and then brought them back. He ripped it into three pieces, keeping one for himself and then handing two to Dante.
"I'll write mine and Seph's on this one and give it to you, then you write yours on both of those and give one to each of us." Made sense, right? With that settled, he scribbled down 'twilight_dark' and 'silver_soldier' onto the paper and forked that over as well.

"We can't make you come back," he said, rather bluntly, to Dante. "But if you don't, you'd do well to never show your face in Traverse again." That warning stated, he dropped that subject entirely. "Leave if you like, but if you're looking for somewhere to stay in town, I wouldn't bother. This hotel is pretty much it, unless you feel like sleeping on a bench outside."

He rolled his eyes at Sephiroth, obviously not all that threatened by the silver-haired man's presence or his little passive-aggressive threats.
"Don't worry, your majesty. My word is my bond." With his own paper stuffed in his pocket, Dante offered Sephiroth an extravagant mockery of a bow before turning and sauntering out the door.
Honestly. A bench would preferable to sleeping under the same roof some of these fucking nutjobs.

He sighed and settled to leaning against the wall. "I think I'm gonna head out now, if that's okay," he muttered, looking at Sephiroth.

He glanced over at Zack, pausing briefly before speaking again. "...I don't expect I'll ever get any of my things back, will I." It wasn't really a question, more a rather pessimistic statement than anything.

Sephiroth's half-inquiry earned a shrug from Zack. "Who knows," he said ambiguously. With that, he pushed off of the wall, gave the other a wave, and started for the door.
