Alice was still kicking herself about letting that injured man leave the hospital wing. She scoured the castle for some guards, found one, and told him what had happened. The man gave her a concerned look and thanked her for the information, advising her to go back up to her room.
Well, that did nothing to supress Alice's nerves. She couldn't sit in her room very long, instead heading to her own office to try and get some work done.
That's where she was now. She felt her eyelids getting heavy. What time is it? She glanced at the clock. "Oh my! It's rather late. I really should finish things up and head to bed. But I'm not very tired at all..."
With a yawn, Alice placed her head on the desk in front of her, just to close her eyes for a bit. Within seconds, she was sleeping soundly, Dinah curled at her feet.
