Leaning back on his chair he he did a mental check list to make sure everything was as intended before he continued with trying to sort out his desk- because at this pace he coudln't continue working under the chaos that was his office.
Coffee, no wait tea. He tapped the cooling mug absently with one hand. Check.
Cat. He looked down at the bundle of fur he'd been obsessively stroking all afternoon. Check.
Papers-
-oh shit. Rufus had completely forgotten about those. Stroking Dinah a few more times he rose and set her down on the table clearly reluctant to part with the cat. On the other hand it was probably best to send her on her way before Alice got worried about having her cat kidnapped or something.
Straightening his white suit Rufus headed out the door of his office for the second time that afternoon. Hopefully this trip wouldn't take him as long. Oh forget that, it probably would.
The familiar corridors seemed to go on forever at times and he stepped past the entrance lobby with the intention to find the library. If there was another copy of this paper, it was surely archived there. This whole trip seemed to be taking too long.
Rubbing the bridge of his nose Rufus sighed, he was feeling a tad more irritable than usual.
