Meaningless Delay - Castle Oblivion[COMPLETE]

Aug 27, 2006 13:13

The first thing that Axel had done the moment his form appeared in the Kitchen was slide a gloved hand along the counter surface, making a small face one could guess was a grimace at the layers of dust caked on the leather.

If Roxas had appeared in the room first he would've had to wait a few more minutes for the redhead to come by as well, the paper bag nestled carefully in his arm the reason being for such. Though the condition of the Kitchen proved to be a small delay much to the redhead's dismay, it was hardly something to cry about. So with a sigh he set the bag on said counter, picked up a nearby rag, and began to wipe the area clean of dust.

He hadn't expected to be gone for so long, but a Nobody should ever expect that any schedule of theirs would work. Their lives might've proved to be bland, but the truth was that it was in a constant state of unbalance. And so 'daily rituals' can often disappear out of sight for who knows how long.

"I hope you're not allergic to anything." Axel spoke without taking a thorough look in the kitchen to see if Roxas was actually there in the first place.

axel, roxas
