While Integra's mood had lightened considerably - considerably being that she no longer looked like she would shiv the next person who spoke to her - since her encounter with Edward, Alucard's had only gotten worse. This was a rare occasion. If he hadn't preformed as well on the front lines, Integra would be taking full advantage of it. Or at least needling him worse than she was now.
Her priority was to find a hotel to settle in for the night. She probably wouldn't even need to nail the coffin shut.
"I don't suppose I could trouble you for a light?"Integra didn't need to turn but she did, just a little after Alucard; they'd both smelled blood. The precision was a little eerie, tough neither party seemed to notice

"Ah," he replied, taking the lighter and touching it to the tip of his cigarette. He took a long drag. Nictone. Wonderful. "Went down easily. Hardly worth bothering with but I suppose it makes it easier for that world to be sealed."
He tapped the ash off the end of the cigarette and passed Integra the lighter back. "Thanks." He was starting to feel more normal now. Better by far then than the odd numbness of earlier.
He raked a hand through his hair, wincing slightly at the knots and matted parts. Just great. "And you? You were going to the frontlines."
"No matter how small, scum like that are only fit to burn." Her voice was cool, underlaid with malevolence. Integra didn't pull any punches when it came to men who would manipulate the Heartless for their own gain. They were far more despicable than the creatures themselves and she had no problem going to any lengths necessary to take them apart. She was careful about how she chose her intelligence in these matters, so most jobs were clean cut and unmistakable

"I wasn't arguing that," Yohji replied smoothly. "Just that he would have got himself killed on his own before too long. The Heartless weren't obeying him, he just thought they were."
It had been the case. The Heartless had been doing whatever the hell they wanted. It's just that their mindless aims had happened to coincide with that guys.
He tensed slightly at the reprimand. Of course they weren't there to keep him entertained. They were there to keep him from getting killed. In some odd fashion anyway.
Killing was what he did.
He made a face as she recounted her experiences. Another world lost. "Great. Guess we need more rookies then. What a pain."
