As she lightly ran down the road that snaked through the town and eventually led to the port, she stopped in her tracks. Was that… a person? Elizabeth’s eyes darted around to find some hiding spot, but… oh, it was too late for that, and he didn’t look like a pirate or one of those creatures. If anything he might know a way out of Port Royal. Though why he was here in the first place puzzled her. He didn't look like a citizen.
She might as well ask, then. Willing the flush in her cheeks to fade, Elizabeth held her head high and began walking towards the stranger intently.

Scratch that, it's nightclothes, the archer decided when the lady was close enough for him to see well enough. "Good evening, miss. Are you from this town, or do you need some help?" While she looked harmless, Touma reminded himself to keep his guard up. He got lucky in Traverse Town, but he wouldn't get that chance again.

Offering a kind smile, Elizabeth bowed her head slightly. "My name is Elizabeth Swann, and I do live here. I'm afraid you've chosen a bad time if you've come to look at the sights." It was wrong to try to take advantage of people, but Elizabeth saw no other option if she wanted to get away.

That line of thought reminded him that she was a young woman out alone at night. "Is there some place I can escort you? Home, perhaps? If the times are as bad as you say, then you should get to a safe place."
