Oblivion [COMPLETE]
So it was decided. He supposed it made the most sense to wait here near the Gummi Ships, hoping that the others would come...some day.
Would they come, or were they just going to wait there, the ships taunting them with the way out? If only he knew how to drive these things, he'd steal one of them, and give the finger to everything else. Of course, Claudia would be highly unhappy with him if he stole anything, and Ed...well, he wasn't sure about Ed on that matter. Probably would smack him or something.
Wait...? Did he just think of stealing something? Well, that was new...
Sitting down in the middle of the area (what did he care? Nothing better to do, afterall), K touched his chest, almost as if he was feeling the scar there. Curves that made an almost heart...
He felt as if there were a million eyes watching him, calling him to oblivion, along with his world and its people. Oblivion could wait. If he closed his eyes, he could still see the faces of those that he cared for, and was searching so desperately to find. When he opened them, he saw his two new friends, waiting to find their own paths. He kept telling himself that he would not abandon his path...but maybe he kept saying that because he didn't believe it yet?
Dwelling again on things...it felt to K as if he'd been doing that a lot. Each time, he'd try to push it back, and then it'd just return tenfold. Perhaps the problem was that he wasn't dealing with everything properly. He had made so many mistakes without thinking...his hair, the munny he got, Bakura and...no! He could not...
Maybe he had to, though? Maybe he had to remember these things fully again and not try to push them away. Maybe then he could really move on. But he didn't want to think...he didn't want to remember...not alone.
But he wasn't alone now...
So he closed his eyes, and plunged into his darkness...
