From what he could tell of this Tanis, he would be badgering Naminé until she agreed to trying on a dress or two that he thought she would look good in. Therefore, he wasn't going to get involved in that. Aladdin still didn't know why the girl was so reserved and apprehensive about everything, but it was starting to intrigue him. There must have been a rather good explanation for it, after all...
Maybe he was just nosy.
Turning to Kairi, he gave a small shrug of his shoulders. "I was wandering around here and I found her collapsed on the ground outside." It wasn't the most flattering story, but it was the truth. "Apparently, she was trying to get somewhere else and ended up here." It was vague, but she had been vague with him, so there wasn't much more he could say about it.....
She watched Tanis laugh and sit down by Namine, flipping through pages of the book, pointing out patterns and colors, gently chiding the girl for being so shy. Sandra hovered over them both like a mother hen, ready to whap Tanis back to sense should his delight in finding a new "model" carry him too far.
"Did she say where she was from? Maybe we can help her get to where she was going." Ships came in and out of Hollow Bastion every day, the citadel the nexus for information and goods dealing with the war. Either paid for or through the charity of some kind stranger, they could get Namine on a ride to wherever her destination was.
Yet, as she watched Namine look shyly over the pages of Tanis' book, she couldnt help but feel something strange...
