Aerith stared right up at the gaping hole in their nice, sturdy roof with a frown. A nice, pile of snow had gathered right in the middle of the hallway by now, and the flower girl was a little miffed that no one had bothered to temporarily patch it up until Dante and Zack actually got around to repairing it.
There was, however, no use fretting about something when you could do your best to fix it. Aerith was no handyman, but, with a thick curtain and some clothespins, she thought she might be able to make something work. The aforementioned pile of snow had been swept out of the hotel, so she didn't have much time to rig up the curtain that would serve as a temporary patch before more started to accumulate on the rug. The problem she was currently facing happened to be that she was both far too short to reach the ceiling and lacking a footstool to reach it.
Green eyes darted around the narrow hallway, quickly falling upon the counter that rested just near the hole. It would be a little precarious, but Aerith thought she could manage. Not that she was known for her balance or grace. So, curtain and large clothespins in hand, the young woman forced herself up onto the counter, taking a moment to balance herself before reaching out to start to secure the curtain.
As Aerith stood there, wrestling with a curtain and some clothespins while trying to remain situated on her precarious perch, she couldn't help but think that it was probably a really good thing no one could see her right now...
