Suckers, Faye thought with a confident smirk as she flung open the door from the hotel. She didn't feel guilty for her actions. Not a bit. It was disappointing that the Investment had woken up before expected, and it was even more unfortunate that she hadn't been able to ditch the blue-haired man earlier in her business venture. What was his name again, Touma? Whatever. He'd fallen for her "we can be friends" shtick, which renewed her confidence in her manipulative abilities. Even more pleasing: she'd never had to pay the brown-haired man for her brief stay.
Now what? She could take her ship and go, maybe find another town to take advantage of. Quatre had mentioned Hollow Bastion, but Faye wasn't sure she felt like spending time in a place with the word "hollow" in its name. This town was getting boring, though, and she didn't want to be anywhere near the Investment when he realized she'd taken his sword. Leaving was probably the best idea.
Faye began toward the World Doors, pleased to be getting out and entirely unaware that she'd left most of her belongings at the hotel.
