I ordered a couple of swatches from Mendels today as I find it always helps to see the color in person. I've never ordered from them before, but I've heard from others that although they have a great color selection, Mendel's fur is rather coarse and of lower quality compared to other faux fur you might find. I'll find out if there's any truth in this when I receive the swatches.
I know you mentioned something earlier that you can only pay through cash. If you'd like me to, I can sell you some good fabric when I finally find some. In fact, I can even send you some scraps or swatches (free of charge) so that you can see it in person. Would it be possible for you to write a personal check or money order? If not, I still might be able to work something out.
I promise to show you some pictures of Toboe when he's done, but that won't be for a long time as I'm still working on a pattern. XD I'm trying to create him in a pose where it appears as if he's howling, and I'm finding it rather difficult... Still, it won't be the first plush I've made, and I'm getting the hang of it with experience.
I'm actually just finishing up a project I've been working on, but unfortunately I can't tell you what it is at the moment as it's (a long overdue) surprise fo a friend (who happens to read my journal entries). I'll post photos in a couple of days though, I have a feeling you might enjoy seeing it.
