Lucathia buys stuff - Japan

Mar 29, 2015 23:02

A belated post about all the stuff I bought in Japan. I bought... a lot. XD;;; (How did all of this fit in my luggage? Good question...)

All the Prince of Tennis stuff I bought. Really amazing how Prince of Tennis is still popular with so much merchandise. I guess the merchandise will keep the series going. Even though I'm not currently following Shin Tenipuri, I'm still buying the merchandise. :'D;; I won the huge towel from a UFO catcher. :3;; (It is now hanging on my wall.)

I bought a lot of rubber charms, ahaha~~. They're mostly from 2nd hand stores. The current series of rubber charms found in capsule machines were the doubles pairs. I got Tachibana and Chitose from the capsule machines (boo). In any case, I got Niou and Yagyuu from the 2nd hand stores~~. Bought a plushie of Yagyuu from Animate. He came in a package of 3 with Niou and Kenya. Kenya, I didn't want to buy you! But no choice. XD;; Good thing I bought Yagyuu there, because he was crazily priced at the 2nd hand store.

Some clearfiles and postcards, either from J World or from kuji (raffle).

I've realized that I have a thing for military uniforms. They look really cool, okay?

I'M SO HAPPY I FOUND THESE. They're only from the raffles (anikuji), so I tried my hand at the raffles. I of course didn't luck out, but I think they were out of stock anyway and only had the small prizes left. I found these 2 at second hand stores. So cute~~~. Medieval Tenipuri! *swoons*

A knightly Ryoma~~

And Yukimura as the pope? XD I didn't buy Atobe or Shiraishi for myself because they were very expensive. D:

Atobe cracks me up. He really does. There was this capsule machine. Usually in capsule machines, you would see a variety of characters and hope you get your favorite character. Well, this capsule machine had nothing BUT Atobe. I laughed so hard when I saw it, so I was all, "I should try this capsule machine out. I wonder who I'll get~~?" (Atobe, of course) But still, as I was turning the lever thing, I still said, "Okay, but the king version of Atobe looks the best, I hope I get that." And I did! Whoot! The other versions aren't nearly as cool, especially the preschool version of him.

This is handmade! I bought this at Comiket. She must've carved all of these herself, ahhhhh. Thank you, for brown haired Yagyuu.

I won this from a raffle at J-World. Atobe Kingdom. Atobe everywheeeeere.

This was my prize from the raffle at Animate.

Some of my other prizes from the Animate raffle.

Yuuta!!!!! Yay for Yuuta merchandise!!!

Now for other series, haha.

K Project.

Shiro and Kuro. :DDDDDDDD In military uniforms, of course. Ahhhh Kuro with his cute little hat and sword.

Actually, I forgot to place these two rubber straps of Shiro and Kuro. Here they are~~. (Can you tell who my favorite clan is)

I went crazy with Kamigami no Asobi stuff too. The posters were random. I really wanted posters of Tsukito booo. And was hoping I wouldn't get one of the half naked gods, but guess what, I got Apollo, who is half naked. XD Nope, I'm not putting your poster on my wall, Apollo!!

In one of the 2nd hand stores, they had nothing but Tsukito!!! Lol! It was perfect for me because I wanted to collect stuff of him the most anyway. XD;; (What a sad thought, everyone kept discarding their Tsukitos... or did people just buy all of the other characters without buying him?? In any case, Lucathia will take you home!)

Detective Conan!! My first shopping spree in Japan. Ah~~, Hokuei, where there's a street dedicated to Conan, was bliss. XD;;; (Hm, I should post pictures from Hokuei!) I bought a lot of DC stuff while at the DC musuem, and then I didn't buy as much Conan stuff during the rest of the trip, since I'd already bought a lot. XDD

A close up~~. Too bad they were out of stock of Kid's grin...

Bought these two from 2nd hand shops.

A small Fire Emblem collection! I wanted Libra the most, and thankfully he was quite cheap. Some of the other characters were too expensive to buy. ^^;; (I wish I'd bought the box sets when they came out)

Ahhhh Kimi to Boku! I actually already have the ones in the middle, but it never hurts to have more, ahahaha. I was just really surprised and happy to find these. Didn't see any other KtB stuff around.

A tiny Akatsuki no Yona collection! AnY ahhhhhhh. I adore this series to pieces. The coaster and the postcard were from the Akatsuki no Yona cafe at Animega (Venus Fort). My first anime cafe! (And then we ended up going to so many anime cafes lol) *Throws money at the series* Pls make a 2nd season!!!

Ace of Diamond!! Haruichi!!! I kept looking for him in 2nd hand shops, but man was he expensive... I still bought some of him anyway. Because, Haruichi... The two coasters are from the Ace of Diamond cafe at the Sunshine observatory in Ikebukuro. It was so pretty, watching the sunset at the top of the observatory while eating Ace of Diamond themed curry~~~.

And all the other random series! Maybe I should've taken a closeup of some of these, ahaha~~. You can't even see police!Rin like this. Rin in an officer's outfit, with his hair tied, kya~~

All the tickets/business cards to the various things I did. XD (lots of entrance fees... and too many towers ahaha. By the end, I was done with towers.)

When I was about to leave Japan, I realized I didn't actually buy souvenirs... :'D;;;; yes, everything was just for me, what souvenirs. Just kidding, the pic with all the random series includes some souvenirs In any case, people just wanted food, so food it was. Perishable, so I could only buy it on the last day anyway!

Here was the requested Tokyo banana.

Some gifts. The cutest blankets.

And now, for all the manga and doujinshi I bought. My true love, okay. I wouldn't have felt satisfied without hitting up Book Off. Sadly, I couldn't bring much back with me.

I bought Flat, Oniichan to Issho, Ouji to Majou to Himegimi to, Bear Bear (because the guy has this really cute ponytail), other manga by the same mangaka, my missing v1 of Orange Chocolate, Yoiko no Kokoroe by Kusanagi Mizuho, who does Akatsuki no Yona. Some manga by Fujitsuka Yuki. Missing volumes of Lagoon Engine. Zetsuen no Tempest. Seifuku anthology (cover drawn by Hotta Kiichi, who does Kimi to Boku).

More manga! Saint Oniisan (this is hilarious), Kokoro Connect, Olimpos, K Project Memories of Red, +Anima, +C Sword and Cornett, Boku to Kanojo no XXX, Ookiku Furikabutte, and some doujinshi anthologies by Satoumizu.

Now onwards to doujinshi! The majority is from Comiket. Old ones are from 2nd hand shops.

Prince of Tennis doujinshi. I mostly browsed Rikkai, but ended up with very random doujinshi hahaha. I was actually looking for doujinshi that featured Yukimura, Fuji, and Shiraishi, but no luck! I quite adore Minami and Yamabuki and was browsing over there. They gave me a free copybon featuring Minami XD;;

Satoumizu's doujinshi about Sanada's hat ahhhhh. I've always wanted a copy of this! Finally found a copy for myself~~~~

Yu Yu Hakusho doujinshi! Really amazing! I wonder when these were started? Because there are so many chapters! Doujinshi with a long arching story and plot ahhhhhhhhhhh. (But will I ever get to read the rest...? I'm not sure how I would get my hands on the rest!)

Gyakuten Saiban doujinshi~~~. My interest lies in Gyakuten Saiban 4 and 5, as you can see from what I've bought. One table had an anthology by several artists, and they worked together to make postcards too. Each artist drew two characters for the postcards, front and back. Really cool to see all the different styles!

Other miscellaneous doujinshi. Suikoden, Kimi to Boku (from 2nd hand shop), a Mother 2/3 doujinshi for Smash Brothers, Gekkan Shoujo featuring Mikorin x Nozaki's brother Mayu, and Akatsuki no Yona doujinshi!!! The artist gave me the doujinshi for Scars for free ahhhhhh. The one that says "Yonacafe" on it has a really detailed report typed out on it about the Akatsuki no Yona radio show. There was a show a day or so before Comiket. I can't believe they'd written out a report and printed it all so quickly!! The doujinshi with Ness and Lucas was cuteness and made me tear up, ahhhhh.

Fire Emblem doujinshi. :DDDDD Fire Emblem 7 doujinshi, yesss. ERK. Serra. Lucius. And Canas ahhhh. My lovely mages~~~. I also bought some Awakening doujinshi, and this really pretty one of Marth's time (with Xane on the cover. Actually, I bought it because of him). It seems to be chapter 2 of an ongoing series, but the artist says they can stand alone.

Last of all, have a pic of the catalog for the merchandise booths at Comiket. I didn't buy a single thing from the merchandise booths. XD;;;
