Belatedly signing up for
parallelsfic! :D
To my parallels creator, I hope this letter is helpful. But if you work better without a letter, feel free to skip! My requests are detailed in my sign-up, so this is just extra stuff. The important thing is to have fun~
The General Stuff
My general likes: Family, a touch of humor here and there, bittersweet turns of events that lead to a happy ending (or just happy endings), some fluff, wistfulness, friendship, loyalty, strong bonds between characters, secrets, keeping secrets for each other, secret identities, shared pasts, mystery, plot twists, character exploration
My fics: If you feel you'll be more comfortable writing for me after figuring out what kind of writer I am, you can find my fics at
ffnet,
LJ, or
AO3. This is just what I write though, which is only a fraction of what I read! You can also see a list of fics I enjoyed at ffnet under favorites and at AO3 under bookmarks.
I'm not an artist, so I have no art to point anyone to. |D;; I love art that tells a story and makes me wonder and imagine more~.
Kamigami no Asobi
Summary: In hopes of teaching a group of gods about humanity, Zeus summons all of them to a garden to force them to attend school with a human.
Requested characters: any (Takeru Totsuka, Tsukito Totsuka, Thor Megingyoruzu, Loki Laevatein, Balder Hringhorni)
What I like about this series: While watching the anime, I found all of the characters to be very endearing (and I loved the running joke of Thoth slamming Yui against the wall). I loved their character quirks, and I loved how the series could go from humorous to being full of feels in the next. I quite loved the plot that the anime chose to focus on. To me, it was very much about bonds of friendship. That last battle where everyone worked towards saving Balder really made me swoon.
Prompt: I would love anything about Loki, Balder, and Thor's past! Something featuring them in the present would be lovely too. Or maybe another time that Balder lost control. How does Thor feel watching from the sidelines? How does Loki feel about protecting Balder? How does Balder feel about the other two?
As for the Totsuka brothers, I'd love anything that features them doing brotherly stuff together, or maybe even crossdressing again, haha. What kind of notes does Tsukito write all the time? Does Takeru ever get jealous of anyone getting close to his brother?
If not one of the above, how about how the gods fare in the human world?
Availability: The anime is 12 episodes long and is available on Crunchyroll. I have not played the game or read the manga but I don't mind spoilers!
Log Horizon
Summary: Players of Elder Tales find themselves stuck in what seems like the world of the game, but is it? Wherever they are, they now have to establish laws in this lawless world.
Requested characters: Rundelhouse Code
What I like about this series: This series really makes me think, and I just love it when Shiroe makes strategies (All the glinting glasses in the anime was tons of fun). This series has a great cast of characters, with tons of things going on even if we don't see it on screen. My favorite character, however, is Rudy and what his identity signifies.
Prompt: What led Rudy into wanting to be an adventurer? What is his backstory? How did he learn his magic? What does he think of all the adventurers? How does he fare after joining Log Horizon? What does he think of Isuzu? What do other people think of Rudy? Does he feel any different after joining a guild? Exploration of what it means to be an adventurer versus a lander would be very cool. Basically, anything focused on Rudy would be awesome! I'd love to see what you'll come up with!
Availability: The anime is 25 episodes and can be watched on Crunchyroll. Translations of the light novels up to volume 6 or so can be found on Baka-Tsuki.
Legend of Sun Knight
Summary: Grisia Sun is the 38th generation Sun Knight. The Sun Knight is someone with dazzling blond hair, vibrant blue eyes, and a forgiving smile. He is a benevolent and accepting man who will forgive you for your sins... Or so the legends claim. Although Grisia Sun is the splitting image of the Sun Knight from the legends, his personality can't be any more different.
Requested characters: Adair (Legend of the Sun Knight)
What I like about this series: I absolutely adore this series for its humor and how different many of the holy knights' true personalities are from their perceived one. Each of them wear a public mask, a personality they had to adopt for the masses, and for many of them, that mask isn't their true selves. Not only do I adore the discrepancy between their personalities, I adore the bonds between the Twelve Holy Knights even more. These characters share super strong bonds, and Grisia especially would give anything for his brothers. The Twelve Holy Knights will never abandon the Twelve Holy Knights. I love many of the characters in this series, but Adair and Sun take the top spots. Since Grisia Sun is the main character and I get enough of him from the main series, I'd really just love to see more about Adair! He is one awesome vice-captain.
Prompt: Anything about Adair will make my day. A day in the life of. Adair training with the Sun Knight Platoon. A mission given by his captain. Adair carrying out one of his captain's orders. Adair acting like a butler for his captain. Adair interacting with Storm, Elijah, Tyler, Vidar, Ed, or anyone else. If you're current with the series, something dealing with volume 8 would be lovely. Whatever you can think of!
Availability: The Legend of Sun Knight is a Taiwanese light novel series. It is complete at 8 volumes. A sequel is being written (only 1 volume out so far). You can find a translation over at
Prince Revolution! (up to the beginning of volume 7). There is also a manhua adaption about, but it is only in its early stages.
1/2 Prince
Summary: Egged on by her brother, Feng Lan starts playing the virtual game, Second Life, as a guy (a very hot elf) to show him up.
Requested characters: Cold Fox (1/2 Prince)
What I like about this series: It's very humorous and fun, especially near the beginning. My favorite character is Cold Fox (Arctic Fox in other translations). I just really enjoy how much he stalks Kenshin and all of his silent support. His RL identity made me love him all the more because he's just... really cool. XD He sure doesn't waste words, and he's definitely very persistent.
Prompt: Cold Fox is my favorite character from 1/2 Prince. I would love something featuring him. Maybe something about why he started playing Second Life? Or his first impressions of Kenshin? Or what he later thinks of Xiao Lan? What is Cold Fox's daily life like? Does he really like tea or what? How did he earn his RL nickname? What does Kenshin or other characters think of him? Has he played any other virtual games before?
Something set way in the future would be cool too. Or anything else you can think of!
Availability: The light novel is 8 volumes long with a 1 volume sequel. English translations can be read at
Prince Revolution! The manhua is being scanlated by Odd Squad Scanlations. It's around 15 or so volumes long.
Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai | The World God Only Knows
Summary: Keima is a god of conquering 2D girls in dating sims. One day, Elsie crashes into his life and asks him to help her capture the hearts of real girls to save their souls (with the power of love).
Requested characters: Elucia "Elsie" de Lute Ima
What I like about this series: Keima is just a really amazing character. Totally a god at what he does, haha. He starts off only caring about his games, and he's pretty much like that throughout the entire series, preferring 2D girls to real girls any day. But even if he doesn't want to, he slowly gets involved. I really enjoyed the Goddess arc, especially the part with Yui!
Prompt: The manga ending left me wanting to know more about just who Elsie is. I'd love more exploration of Elsie's past, or perhaps some fleshing out of her own realizations near the end. How does her experiences with Keima connect with everything? What is Elsie's life like now, and what about those people who forgot her? What is it like for Elsie and Keima now that she's a permanent part of his life, and his parents think she's always been there? What does Keima feel about everything?
If none of those work for you, just something about Elsie would be nice! Something platonic please! Hanging out with friends, or a sibling like relationship with Keima!
Availability: The anime has 3 seasons of 12 episodes and can be watched on Crunchyroll. The manga ended at 268 chapters.
Thank you so much! Hope you have fun! (Please ignore anything that isn't helpful for you! I just like to ramble about my favorite series...)
