Father's Day rolled around, and just like Mother's Day, fic writing happened very last minute. XD; But it happened! \o\ Not a cutesy one like I thought it'd be though, when I first got thinking about it last month... I just felt this pressing need to explore Chasel's and Neo's thoughts about their students dying. Haha. I feel so inferior. All you have to do is throw stuff together and it becomes an amazing fic.

Oh! I love basketball! My school has a pretty good boys team. We have four campuses all over the state and we hosted our first ever Battle of the Campuses this year. We won which was really surprising.

You usually write in first person, I should’ve been able to tell write away (but I was too excited and forgot).

We only know that Chasel lives in Leaf Bud. I was wondering if any of the others did too.

That sounds interesting. I usually picture all the teachers and students having a get-together and everyone questioning Neo about his arm. Then Grisia feels so guilty that he gets Neo drunk and has his way with him (I don’t mean that in an impure way).

Isn’t it actually good that it’s already passed? This leaves more time to think and translations would have covered their introduction. It really makes me look forward to next year!

No, no, it still took a long time to wrangle into shape. *flops* But I guess I like that I don't have to agonize too much over oneshots... not too much planning required! (Unlike chaptered fics... I don't even know with my chaptered fics. They go nowhere)

I am terrible at basketball. We had a match at school the other day, against the students. I'm very glad I didn't join. I would've been demolished. |D;; Your team sounds pretty strong!

I like imagining that several of them live in the city! At least we know the 38th gen will all live there, haha.

Oh, and ETA, before LSK, I rarely wrote first person, haha. Getting to write 1st person is pretty fun though. I feel like other fandoms judge people for it. I started off writing 1st person with my very first fics but transitioned away from that to third person... and now I'm back where I started. XD;

Chasel is only ever mentioned in the main storyline, but gosh, is he quite a character. (I love writing him)

Aw, thanks! It felt disjointed to me, especially since I was trying to cover three different reactions (Chasel's reaction to Lesus's death, his reaction to Neo's loss of his arm, Neo's reaction to Grisia's death), so it jumped around in time. But I hope in the end it was clear that the time frame is actually when they're out on the battlefield fighting the undead, and that Chasel was remembering what led up to that point...

I was always sad by the fact that the united teachers were only mentioned in one line. Of course, it was Grisia's POV, so there couldn't much be done about it. Yet I always wanted to have more about the 37th generation, about how they reacted to everything. And I wanted to know what happened in those six months.
You were able to give a bit of it and even made me clench my heart every so often, thank you so much! I would love to read so much more about 37 but thank you so so much for granting a little bit of that wish!
And it wasn't messy at all, it was heartfelt and so much appropriate for the things that were happening during that time in the story ...

Aw, thanks! I'm glad this works. I really enjoy even the slightest mention of the teachers and the vice-captains. Their dynamics are great. The half year period is rich with exploration possibilities too, like what the teachers, the other Twelve Holy Knights, the vice-captains, and Roland were doing.
