Tenipuri
Haven't been fangirling this series enough lately, but I bought Kanzenban season 2 volumes 1-3 today, as well as PairPuri 6, featuring Kirihara & Kaidou. So expensive. :'D I've been trying to translate some of PairPuri 6 over at
fanbook, but I've only done a 2 pages so far. The whole fanbook is so much fun though! I especially enjoy the Kirihara & Krauser interaction, as well as how much Kirihara's sempai are emphasized.
Season 2 of the complete edition currently features Hyoutei on the covers!
Volume 1: Oshitari&Gakuto on the cover, Kikumaru&Momoshiro on the inside cover, and if you slip the book out, you see another version of Kikumaru&Momoshiro, but this time with Oishi between them! (Yes, it's the 3 person doubles part of the story!) The new color page features Oshitari in his private clothes. New manga at the back features Rikkai... buying ice cream! XD
Volume 2: Shishido&Ootori on the cover, Inui&Kaidou on the inside cover (with lots of milk bottles, haha), and the actual wrap around cover features sleeping Jirou. :3 Inside color page features Gakuto wearing overalls. The specials at the end are baby pics of Yukimura enjoying a cool breeze, Kite&Kai, and Saeki! Saeki looks so cool in his samurai-like clothes!
Volume 3: Oh gosh, this one is for Atobe lovers. He just looks very cool both on the outside cover and on the wrap around cover. The inside flap though features a very pained Tezuka gripping his shoulder. Poor Tezuka. D: Color page features Jirou looking very cheerful. Manga at the end is about Sengoku! Specifically, Sengoku listening to Yumiko's divination and feeling very lucky, getting picked for Jr Senbatsu, and all! (We get to see a young Sanada and Yanagi and Atobe! With Yanagi imitating Sengoku's "lucky~" when he predicts that's what he was going to say) And then Sengoku sends Yumiko fan letters... XD;
Super belated, but Tenipuri Festa 2011. So much love! Today I flipped through Animedia (May and June editions had a special seiyuu guide section, with a one page questionnaire per seiyuu) and was surprised at how many seiyuu I recognized by appearance. It was all mostly Tenipuri seiyuu that I recognized though. Kite's seiyuu wrote that he felt Kite's role was the turning point of his seiyuu career. Minagawa Junko wrote that it was Ryoma for her. :)
But yeah, Tenipuri Festa 2011. Finally got to hear Laser Beam performed by all of Rikkai! :D Was so waiting for that!
Junai Labyrinth
Picked up volume 4 today! I decided not to buy Seiyuu Ka- v5-6 and Gakuen Alice v24 in favor of buying some Tenipuri (will buy sometime later... I've already read what's in v5-6 for Seiyuu Ka anyway, and I haven't been reading the Gakuen Alice volumes I've been buying... maybe I'll wait until I catch up to actually buy it? =x). I still bought Junai Labyrinth since I have been following this shoujo. Reira~. Haruto~. Umi~. The characters feel very typical of this mangaka, but they always make me smile! I'm cheering for Reira, but this whole thing feels very Haruto x Umi... which is the whole point of the story I think. XD; Haruto and Umi are brother and sister, and Umi has a huge brother complex. Haruto has a pretty huge sister complex too. Reira... is kind of just there and gets on the nerves of both of them. XD;
Kimi to Boku
I've been buying GFantasy for the sake of the KtB extras, haha. June edition comes with a pencil board! Last month's was stickers, and before that was a poster. I haven't actually read these chapters yet (need to get out all my GFantasy and read them at once) but I flipped through June's... and goodness, Yuuki and Chizuru are fighting? Now I'm curious. There was also a 4-koma featuring the boys talking about the anime! :D
Kuragehime
Not related to stuff I bought today, but I finished watching Kuragehime~. (I picked up where I left off... and then couldn't stop, haha) Really loved Kuranosuke a lot. Appearance-wise, I seem to really like characters who tie their hair up in a little ponytail (think, Gokudera, who does it from time-to-time). Personality-wise, I loved his confidence and how much he cared about Tsukimi. I also adored Shuu, though I felt bad for Tsukimi when he didn't recognize her. :'D The anime was quite heart-warming a lot of the time, and I wish I had Chieko's skill with sewing. XD; Also loved the jellyfish metaphors.
