I joined a new TCG called
Reverie that features pretty manga and game illustrations. I haven't been excited about a TCG for quite a while, since two of the three I'm in are run by me (that makes things a bit less...fun). XD; It looks like some of Reverie's deckmakers might have the same tastes in manga as me. <3 The Reverie site is so pretty and well organized. I really, really wish I could figure out PHP better so I can revamp the Colors card pages. The current site is so...clunky. My organization skills clearly suck. Maybe I should ask Colors members again? We have more people now, so maybe someone can direct my hopelessness with PHP.
I got an affiliation email earlier this week that made me go...oops, I really should have asked people to label their subjects or mention something in the email about which TCG they're trying to affiliate with...since I use the same email for
twistserve_tcg and
colors_tcg. I figured it was probably for Colors since Twist Serve already affiliated with that TCG. X3;;
Colors TCG has grown beyond my imagination. We almost have 100 members now, though of course not everyone's active. I don't think it's because Colors is unique or anything, just that I opened Colors at a good time (when many other multifandom character TCGs aren't around anymore), and my helpful mods have been pretty on top of things, keeping the place active. <3 And players have been enthusiastic and are still enthusiastic and passing word on about the TCG! \o/ I like a lot of our players' choices of deck donations (I especially love characters you wouldn't think of finding in a TCG because images of them are hard to come by, as well as characters from new series). I can't believe September is almost over. It means that it's almost time for the next deck release. I have a lot of manual html coding in front of me to do. XD;
Twist Serve TCG, on the other hand, needs to be more active! *flails* I suppose this is what happens when a TCG is already a year and a half old, especially when the TCG only focuses on one series. ^^;; But Twist Serve was super active in the beginning too, though I guess the fandom itself is kind of quiet these days. I'm thinking new members will probably help. If you're a Prince of Tennis fan, you should consider joining us. =P If nothing else, the
card list is super helpful for remember who's who and what happens when. XD (I should strive to make it a complete database, haha).
