I considered various scenarios (the baseball game was in all of them) and somehow this came about. The friend of the dad was going to play a bigger part, but this felt more natural.

Yes, reread the series with me. Gah, this series makes my heart wrench. I guess my fic doesn't help either!

XDD; I thought you meant from the dad's perspective, he focused on baseball games, rather than football games.

It's kinda strange reading the series again; the art's really rough and sketchy, which I really don't remembering noticing the last time. That, and there are all these characters!

Hahaha, I've been brainwashed. I keep thinking baseball game...Waku must not be pleased with me for not remembering soccer.

I found that I really missed a lot of detail! I've been reading a few chapters here and there trying to find info about characters. I ended up finding a lot that I either forgot or never noticed the first place. :'D There are so many characters! There are some that I don't know the names of! Komo's dad, Anko's dad, and this other guy...I can't keep them straight.

I was trying to find his name and mention about the number of pilots there were in Kokopelli's world...I found his name in chapter 53. Don't know if there was more explanation beyond that. X3;;

I'm seeing more into the characters interactions (and Ano's reaction to her dad's console being broken was a whole lot funnier) and understanding the meaning behind what they're saying this time around.

I'm remembering from the anime that they took more than what was needed in one world (the number 23 is popping up, dunno if that's true) - and then they all ran away.

Read a bit of the character page on wikipedia and, wow, yeah, there's a lot that I've forgotten. XD;;

Hm, yeah, in the manga they had more people than they needed too. I remember in the anime, Kokopelli had...a daughter? Or something like that. His past isn't explained much in the manga. I'm probably getting my facts from the anime and manga mixed up here.
