I’m sorry that I couldn’t tell you what I was planning. I know that out of all of them you would be the one to understand, but I also know that you have tried talking me out of it. Always the big brother, and I love you for it.
Look after Nick for me? I know that he won’t understand and that he’ll blame himself; why didn’t he see, what did he do wrong? You know what he’s like. Try to be there for him, even if it seems he doesn’t want it; deep down underneath that tough Nick exterior he’s still just a little kid who had to grow up too fast, and little kids hurt so easily.
You’re so strong Kevin, strong for all of us, and I’m sorry I never saw that before. I do now and I am so blessed to call you my brother and one of my best friends. So please, be strong for them? And most importantly be strong for Nick? Just until I can get back and be strong for you.
