This week has been interesting so far. Back to the games after easter. Temple of Elemental Evil is nearly done. They have made it to the recovered temple, killed a succubus, and managed to talk their way past some ogres using bribery because they realised the ogres knew tactics and might have had a chance at slaughtering them. Luckily, they also were greedy. Luckily for them, around the corner, a greater earth elemental and a stone giant await. hee hee.
Then back onto Vampire, which saw one of the greatest balls ups I have ever seen. The PCs decide that they are going to go and ply the landlord of this pub for information, then they go and intimidate him into giving up said information. Ok great. They get the information. Fine, then they go upstairs in the pub to get a look at the room of hte person they are looking for. Unfortunately the landlord has lobbed all his stuff out in the trash, which is still out the back cos after all this is London in 1842 so Brian decides he is going to presence the Landlord into going outside and bringing in the stuff from the trash. Unfortunately he gets the whole pub in the area effect, so 20 people get up and start walking round the back of hte pub bringing in 5 day old fish heads and hte like. Ken decides this is a breach of the masquerade and kills them all. Patrick and Dacre turn up in the middle of this and Patrick decides to help as damage control, whereas Dacre (sensibly I thought) was having none of it and left. Afterwards, Patrick decides he is going to burn the place, but they don't they go get the Archon who turns up agog at the mess they have created and the massive breach of the masquerade and Patrick responds.. "it's ok... we've got the heads" funniest session Ihave run in a long time.
Aside from that... not too much going on. Spending the weekend in the loft clearing all the crap out, and spending the next weekend putting all the boards down in the loft to better organise everything. Bought DS9 series 3 on dvd, so can box up the vids. Have discovered that my series 2 might be shafted, so I will have to watch it the whole way through to check (shame). Apart from that the boringness of my life abounds. Still looking for another job, still getting wound up by the current job. discovered today that CG had made yet another change to the SP before she sent it out that she didn't tell us about, and it appears to have caused a problem. Oh joy! I will of course test this before I do anything, although I am beginning to see the futility of the exercise, since she will do what she wants anyway.
Still that is all for now. I will leave this as I am going to spend this evening with David and Helen.
