I never use this anymore but i have something on my mind.
When i was into local music i went to go see shows becuase i liked the music and i wanted to go see the bands preform. The concerts were great becuase the people that were there felt same way i did and they enjoyed the concert and only came cause they liked the music. and we werent cool cause we went to shows.
Something has happened and the local music scene is like highschool now. If you dont know the band your not cool and you get shunned. Most of the music is no good (but thats and entirely different subject), and most of all, people go to shows to be seen. These people dont care for the music like i used to when i went to alot of shows when i tagged along with my brother. there there cause its "cool" to go to shows and if you look the look and talk the talk and know the band its great but now its just a popularity contest and its not about the music anymore.
Its cahnged so much and its no fun to go to concerts anymore.
Sorry if you feel like ive targeted a specific person, i havent. this is just the feeling i get when i go to shows and its not to "cool" anymore
