(no subject)
I haven't posted on Livejournal in forever! Well everytime I click here I get disgusted by the ads that pop up and leave for better sites. I still don't understand what LJ is thinking having pop up ads pop up before you are even logged in. Instant turn-off.
But I figure I'll post here anyway to document my trials with Sculpty. I've never used this stuff before until yesterday, but I really like it. I want to make custom ponies based of background characters from the new MLP "Friendship is Magic" show. I've already done plenty of fanart and even a fanfic, but I wanted something more physical. Especially considering I've seen some total crap selling for way more than it's worth.
Anyway, here is a background pony from the show I am working on: Since she has no official name, I've been calling her "Marmalade Jalapeño Popette", and some of the other fans on ponychan have picked up on the name and have also been using it, so yay!
She still needs detail and a hat. Also needs to be smoothed out.
