Preemptive Maneki Luck
So I was bored waiting for the bus at the mall today, and gave in to the urge to use one of those ufo prize grabbing cranes, which I usually avoid because a lot of them are scams, but I saw this cool looking Maneki Neko "lucky coin" that looked easy enough to grab, and so I inserted my 50 cents.
I missed the coin, but one of the arms of the crane got stuck on a big box that I would normally have never gone for because it looks too heavy for the crane to lift (seriously, sometimes these cranes cant even lift a damn stuffed animal), and I ended up receiving an expensive looking ipod dock/speaker system.
Then on the second try I got the coin ^^
Was it by some rare chance one of those rare crane machine not run by a scam artist, or the power of the Maneki Neko!? I shall keep it in my wallet for glory and riches.
