Not a convention report
I'm not doing a con report since if you were there you know what happened and if you weren't it would a) mean nothing or b) be a painful reminder of what a good time you had to miss
However I would like to add to the praise already being heaped on the committee for such a fun, interesting and above all friendly convention. This was my 6th Redemption and I booked for the 7th almost as soon as the registration table opened on Saturday.
LB naturally enjoyed schmoozing with friends old and new. His costume went down a treat. The high point of my weekend was probably walking only two paces from my hotel room before hearing "that's bloody brilliant!" from a complete stranger. Photos will be forthcoming on Flickr shortly.
And on the subject of photos - anyone who wants to post photos/videos etc of me or Himself online is more than welcome to do so. I appreciate that some people need to stay in the Sci-Fi closet for professional reasons. However I'm fortunate to work for normal people with a sense of humour. Many of them have already fallen under spell of LB's alluring tufts, so it's no problem.
