True that this may be, Badfaith.. you must forgive me.. I spent a summer or two in Paris... your name is pronounced Mal Foi, french for bad faith, I apologize for the rudeness.
I am not oblivious to others secrets, I respect the fact they have them. I know through simple watching and mindfulness of things, one can deduce much. Give people what they think they want to see, and all that.
I know classes have only recently started Draco, but I have not seen you in the Common room as yet this year. Normally a peacock like yourself tends to be front and center at all times, why the sudden move to the shadows? Or is there something else going on?
((ooc: I know Draco isn;t at Hogwarts, but Luca never really followed his gang and whatnot.))

More than happy to, but it will have to wait, Malfoy. Why not simply tell me? I had gathered your father escaped from Azkaban, first off I hope he is well. I may find his actions unpleasing, but enough of my family has been imprisoned, I know the joy of seeing family free of their cells.
We may not have been on the same page on many things Malfoy, but I have as best I can considered Slytherin my kin and kith while here.

Does it really mean that much to be put into Slytherin? Even the sorting hat doubts itself, following instructions from four founders who died a millenia ago.
Secrets...You want to have your feelings for your secrets respected, return the favor to others.

what is bad faith, if anything it means to rethink things, have doubt in one's surroundings and appearances, to not follow blindly, and to express free will.
Remember I did not grow in a fine mansion or castle or whatever it is your parents provided for you, we come from different worlds. I assure you I never at any point meant disrespect towards you or your family.
I'll respect any secrets I may find as they are.
I'm just saying, you've caught my interest now, Draco. The boredom of being in one place is all-consuming.. I need the hobby.
As someone who was born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you know that first impressions mean everything... I have to keep telling myself there is more to the great Draco Malfoy than a bouncing white ferret that I saw as a first year.

I offer the hand of alliance to few, mostly from sympathy to the troubles your family have been through.
If you don't want it, it's no problems to me. My family, unlike yours has no need to worry of your Voldemort. We all allied and together in ways your Death Eaters never will be. Not to mention we are never in one place long enough to be properly tracked.
I was under the assumtion you and your family are on the run. I can see if my family can cast protective spells for you, merely ask. No promises if they will, however to help a family being hunted is something we can sympathize too. But know this offer happens once, Malfoy. I expect civility from those I offer help to.

May I just say, that an ounce of civilty will go a long way, acting like a spoiled brat will only ensure that I don't want to help. I've been in similar situations, I know how it feels to be run out on a rail, to not know what could happen next, Draco. If you'll see your next meal...
