Sept 5.
Dear Diary,
This week has been interesting. The feeling in the air has changed since we lost Dumbledore. Not a single teacher or student has cared about my Romani dress. I am finding out that I am well liked, ironically by many of the other houses, but not my own.
Slytherin is my house, my family here, and I must show them, I am one of them. I know by the end of this year they will know this.
I recently met a colin creevey, he is small but funny. He wants me to write reports for a paper of his. I find that this journal and this paper will give me much practice for my English. This gladdens me.
I enjoyed performing music earlier, and I think I may do it again.
It is still hard to live so far from home, I wish I could see family again soon. I know I will have to spend Christmas here, since I will not know where they are at the holiday season...
