Just for the novelty, I'm posting sober. All errors are, in fact, the fault of, well, me.
I read through my old posts recently, and I laughed a lot at what I saw. Not because it was funny stuff, though there was indeed some of that, but mostly at how at these different points in my life I've taken such die-hard stances on certain things.
I think I do this because this form of media is enough private that I can talk out these points without fear of sudden and damaging retribution, a sort of safety, and yet it is public enough that there are comments on what I do or do not say: A sort of group session.
Thus I have the freedom to be reckless and opinionated, but the responsibility to look at how the comments are going and get an indicator of public feeling.
Anyway, it's nice to be able to do that. And don't take me (too) seriously. :)
A special shout-out today to correspondant Jill Carroll, who was finally released in Iraq: May your life be *less* interesting from now on. Congratulations and welcome home. (search CBS News or something if you've been living in a cave lately)
Mad love to all my friends for their birthday wishes and mad lootz. Honestly, I have to say I enjoy the feelings more than the stuff, but I have to admit there was some dead sexy loot included in this particular birthday. :) Thank you to everyone. *hugs*
Alright, food's done, time to pack for the weekend.
Love and Peace.
